im getting the feeling that many people here dont understand the reason for the large amounts of blood that is going to be in this game. and those of you who do understand, please give me an amen. this game is not just about "kill all germans, kill all germans" so lets put all the juicy blood in as we can, this game about A. making this game as real to true war as they possibly can. and this means from weapon power to tactics to, yes, blood. when men get shoot and blowen up, they just dont fly in the air, they get ripped apart in the worst possible way. my friends grandfather was there when dersden was bombed. i was told that he was knocked out cold because of some reason, next thing he knew he was on a plane back to england, not in a nice seat but laied among his friends that had blowen to bits, he still wont fly to this day. war is heads and brains flying everywhere, legs and arms lying on the ground, oozing wounds that wont stop bleeding. and the thing is, this happens to your buddies. and thats the second part this game is trying to make the player realize. this game has down time, and during this time your laughing it up with your friends. this game is going to give you time to bond with your fellow troops to the point where we are going to be able to recognize them on first name or even nickname basis. this game is trying to potray the pain, anguish and terror it felt for our grandfathers to chat with a close friend one minute, then the next see the guts splattered on the ground, knowing that you and him will never talk to eachother ever again. how do you coop with that, you just do. the blood is not for fun or for "awsome splatter effect", there is a meaning behind ever drop of blood. just remember, this is a true story, for the most part, this really did happen. think about it

Ok, I agree, to a point.
War is a horrible thing. Men do die in ways we would never imagine. War is arms and legs on the ground, Blood everywhere (to a point, when people are shot, blood doesn't splatter EVERYwhere in huge gobs, but it does drain out later), everything you listed, etc, etc.....
But thats not the point of a VIDEO GAME. War is very traumatizing to those who fight in it. And don't get me wrong, I belive all those who have seen war should be respected with the highest priority in the world. But a game does not have to try and "truamatize" the player like war actually does. I understand the point that players should respect what is happening in the game a whole lot more than they do. But put loads of blood in the game is not going to do that.
The fact that the game allows the player to lose his buddies will be the only thing that does. The fact that it is the player's fault should pull them the immediatly stop, hit esc and reload the game to not let that man die again. Thats the point of comradrie and thats the reason why war is truamatizing. Gore has nothign to do with it.
I was touched by something a WWII vet i was talking to told me, and it actually makes me want to cry, he said: The fact that your friend is missing half his face makes you puke, the fact that your friend will never smile when you walk into the room again makes you cry yourself to sleep at night.

Uh, Dresden would have never happened if the host country's madmen didn't start the war. London was firebombed FIRST for NO good reason.
Same goes for Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

It was said already that there is no exageration when it comes to hits, blood, etc...
So if you are worried about the extra amount of blood in the game please don't. It won't be there. Unless of course you want to see the reduced physics in the game which won't be as realistic.

Look look, I'm sorry to say, but that *** hole over there ******* telling people to shut there mouth becuase they don't know anything, doesn't mean the person knows alot. I know that Nam has nothin' to do with WWII. But I asked my teacher about what happened with him in Nam. His hole in tire platoon, except one, got ******* wiped out. He also told me that one dude got hit with a shrapnel and the back of his head was nothin' but braines. So you shut the **** up you idiot, and learn your manors. People who've served in wars should be honored in a way we do not. I hope your happy, ******.

Some people are blowing this gore thing way out of proportion. Its a war game, its going to have deaths, but its not going to have mutilated babies' heads on stakes. I mean, come on. Its gore, stop acting like 12-year-olds, its not going to be worse than anything thats already on the market, like Doom.

Hey, Buzzgud1991 are you talking about me? Cause i swear to god you've got another thing coming.
Its not my fault that you all think you know so much about war cause you heard it from a teacher.
All your post is in my opinion is ignorant foul language.
You should respect your fellow gamers a little more.

I actually apreciate the attention to detail. That's what has me so turned on about this game! The Reality to it! I tend to play on the German side anyways on the multiplayer (MOH). I wonder if the detail will be there as well (in the Multiplayer).
