As with any of our titles, we are always looking for ways to improve, and to better serve you, the community. Next is the DEV Corner, this is where our Designers get to share their thoughts and feelings on specific design choices, as well as offer previews of upcoming updates.

Okay, starting with positive:

The narratives in PL are absolutely awesome, I get caught up in almost all of them and they really add alot to both games. I especially like how some cross over or seem to dissapear and then you find them again later on... I tried to write this vaguely to not reveal spoilers... but yeah, all in all, the narratives are great and I love going through them... some would make fun side missions/ DLC in Brotherhood, like the Fiora ones which add depth to the multiplayer characters, the Assassins and the Borgia.

I also love the interactivity between console and Facebook, such as the capes and money, though it would have been nice to see more of this, like unlocking skins or items for completing memories, like having Mario or Fiora as a single player skin after completing their stories, or having the apple in game by crafting it in Facebook?

Other stuff, I like the action point system, it keeps me from mindlessly tapping away for hours and hours... I like the crafting, it adds variety to missions...

I also really like the Erudito stuff and the little quizzes, it makes you feel more in that world and makes it immersive, it also ties the games together, which is nice...

And now, bad stuff:

A couple of things I find odd, some missions in Rome need items from the Italy set, but when you click on them it just takes you to the Italy set, not the memory where the item is found, this can be confusing... also, sometimes it says the item is found at "SUCHANDSUCH" memory, but it can also be purchased or crafted, which it doesn't tell you...

Items like Assassin recruits and Precious Stones are ridiculously rare... spent 400 ap and got 2 precious stones in return, now I have to wait an entire day to get enough ap to play the memory where I needed them...

And lastly, and most recently...

Last night I had over 4,000,000,000 florins which I have slowly accumulated by owning all the buildings, this was good because it meant that I could actually buy stuff and play through the story without waiting for days and I was enjoying it...

Now, six hours have passed, and I now have 102,439 florins...

What the hell has happened here?

Is this a glitch?

Is there a way to fix it?

No-one has used my Facebook, and if they have then they wouldn't have gone on Assassin's Creed, and if they did, they can't have spent four billion florins as I have no new items...

Any feedback on this would be awesome...

Has anyone else had this or is it just me?

Anyhou, all in all, this is a great game, it is definitely worthy of being linked with Assassin's Creed!

But... it could use more interactivity with Brotherhood like the capes, but maybe with actual skins? Maybe this could come with the Divine Science pack?

Oh, also, four billion florins?

Nur mal so, tut sich bei dem Spiel auch noch was?????? Hab alles durch, bin bei Level 70, habe ca. 215.000.000 Taler (weiß auch nicht was ich damit machen soll). Seit einem halben Jahr steht bei "Feiertage": "Verfügbar ab 2011" und es tut sich nix.
Am Anfang war das Spiel ja echt gut, aber leider wird hier nichts mehr getan. Echt Schade für alle die dafür soviel Zeit investiert haben

To Ubi, great game, wish I'd found it before I finished AC:Brotherhood so I would've enjoyed the training recruits aspect, but can't be helped! Looking forward to seeing more content in the future.

This didn't really bother me. You didn't need many precious stones until the end of the game, and then anything which extended the game was good for prolonging the end. That's what the 11 Carracks are there for. Also that 400AP you spent looking for precious stones wasn't wasted, you got XP after all http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Don't forget you can use Mnemonics to reset AP (plenty found in Contract missions).

Also perhaps you need to raise your Shadow stat to make finding precious stones a little easier?

I know how it works, I just thought it was a tad bit awkward to have to then search for it yourself. If you're in Italy set and there is something in another memory in Italy set it takes you directly to that memory, but if you're in Rome set and you need something from Italy it just takes you to Italy, not the actual memory. Plus some of the things that it says are found in Italy set can just be crafted in Rome anyway. Again, not a major thing, just found it frustrating that it took so much AP to get 2 stones lol, I was really into the story and this seemed to needlessly slow it down... it was right at the end, so I had a whole day to wait to find out what happens next! D:

On the bright side, I now have several thousand pieces of gold and semi-precious stones! :P

Also, I have found a few Mnemonics, but for some reason, even in contracts, "Rome" was incredibly rare, I only found one between the release of the game and about a week ago! Since then I've found 4 in a row, then no more since, so I guess it's off and on... :P

Ironically I now have loads of Mnemonics to raise AP's... after I have completed the game... I guess I have some stocked up for the Divine Science pack though? :P

It's currently 113, not sure if this is good? I've been evenly levelling each thing up, they're 114, 114, 113, 114 so far!

Lastly, have you experienced the epic money plunge, or was it just me? I had about 4 billion florins, then it turned into 10,000 magically? Random...

Also, what was your opinion of the cross-over elements?

This happened to me only because I stopped collecting from territories. Half way through Rome it felt like I would never need more than about 1 mil so I didn't bother - then Chapter 4 appears...

Can you add an option to remove saved game data thats synced from Assassins Creed: Brotherhood that no longer exist?

im finding a glitch on legacy, i currently own 20 templar rings yet the acheivment for owning 10 hasnt unlocked, also i have won 104 skirmishes and its not unclocked winning 50 skirmishes, is this a known glitch? is it being fixed?

Hey guys!

Props to the people at Ubi for making the Creed games, props for making me feel as attached to a game as I did back in Final Fantasy VII / VIII / IX days.

I must confess, I only jumped onto Project Legacy to get some Ubi points to get my outfits for Brotherhood. But what a great idea, I'm loving the story lines, and I have a feeling the PVP will become a much more central part of the game soon (I'm guessing we will be able to use our soldiers in battles?).

Props on the multiplayer, now that I'm 100% synch in the story, with all the outfits unlocked, I'm leveling my MP profile. Loving Manhunt a lot, and I might get back into Wanted now that I have more stuff unlocked.

I love Ubi so much I went ahead and purchased an Abstergo shirt plus the comics from your online shop, and got my hands on the dark/light Ezio and Altair NECA figurines.

Just showing some love, keep up the good work, and continue reinvesting into the community.

Hey, huge fan of Project Legacy, majorly addictive.
Once I got Brotherhood for my PC, I was very pleased with the linking aspect, but I want MORE of it in the next Assassin's Creed; it was nice when you completed the Auditore Trail and got those capes, and when you owned a territory in both, you got a sum of florins, but I CRAVE more! xD
Some other peepz have requested new characters, and that would be nice too, but so far Francesco Vecellio.
Last; the only time I can connect with Project Legacy is when I'm at a computer. Does anyone know a way that I can access Project Legacy on my Android? And if there isn't a way: Make an app for it Ubi! xD

Fore some reason, the only way to get this achievement is to complete a new memory. I had the same problem, but it was only when I went to a new memory I had never gotten 100% sync and completed it that the achievement was picked up. This also happens for other non-memory achievements as well.

I think that the second memory block from Holidays will come out on Easter. Just like the Chrsitmas one. But than remains a question: If memories appear only on holidays, wehen will the next appear?

Have you tried crafting an item or creating a mnemonic? Either of those will usually trigger achievements that are completed, but not awarded yet. This worked for me with many of the achievements I have received (including the templar ring and the various skirmish achievements).

Wow, a forum, this is awesome, an awesome idea indeed. Would be happier if it was an IPB forum since, maybe it's just me, but just one sub-forum seems a little disorganized, much like Facebook, but oh well, like this is already better than the Facebook page.

Hello there!

Just to let you know, Project Legacy has kind of messed up in the last 2 days...

Instead of loading, it now shows the Facebook page for about a second, then reloads it to a blank page and then loads the Project Legacy game in this blank page on the lower right of the screen.

In this page you can't scroll, but you also can't see the whole of the game... I'm pretty sure it's not my computer, but it might be?

The game is still playable, well, in the areas that you can see, but it's definitely broken...

I had the same problems, but I found a way around it. But first, a small story so people might understand the problem (LOOKIE HERE, UBISOFT TECHIES!)

Before I became a true facebooker, I bookmarked PL because that was the only reason I used FB, and didn't really care about the rest of it.

That was before any of the weirdness started. Now, when I go to PL via the link on my FB Newsfeed page-thingy, PL freaks out.
HOWEVER, when I use the Bookmark, PL works just fine.
I don't know if bookmarking PL now will help, but it's worth a shot.

As of about Thursday April 14, whenever Ive gone to Project Legacy, Im redirected to it, completely off of Facebook and there's no scroll bar so I can't access anything below PVP, which includes doing things like buying Territories or crafting items. Can you either help or somehow get someone or something and get a scroll bar on it?

Okay, one thing that is ABSOLUTELY bugging me in ACB is the Seusenhofer Armor quest.... I've gotten 100% game stat with everything to get except the Seusenhofer Armor... I haven't sold any trade objects and I've collected all of the chests and I've even hunted on the Couriers for periods of time (reply to this if you want to know a quick way to find the aconite) anyways, I really want to know where another shrunken head is since I've only collected one and I doubt there is anymore. Just in case there is, reply to this please and let me know any tricks you know or anything else that has worked for you.

Actually, the page is not screwed up, it's just you have to scroll down by "grabbing" text and moving the mouse down.
Happened to me for a week. Quite annoying.
If you're using I.E., use F11 to hide upper bar and have more space available for AC:PL

Okay, one thing that is ABSOLUTELY bugging me in ACB is the Seusenhofer Armor quest.... I've gotten 100% game stat with everything to get except the Seusenhofer Armor... I haven't sold any trade objects and I've collected all of the chests and I've even hunted on the Couriers for periods of time (reply to this if you want to know a quick way to find the aconite) anyways, I really want to know where another shrunken head is since I've only collected one and I doubt there is anymore. Just in case there is, reply to this please and let me know any tricks you know or anything else that has worked for you.



Check all the romulus lairs. That's where I got mine. I know one is in the lair with the underground church. I don't remember the other one, just get all the chests, the heads are in them.

There are excactly two shrunken heads in the game.
One is inside of the sixth day romulus lair, on the right side of the huge cross.
The other one is on a cliff, just use your map to find all the treasure chests in rome territory and you should be fine.

Hi! Thank for a great game. About the shrunken heads in AC:B : I know of a few people who sold their shrunken heads before realizing what they were for. Now the only way is to restart the game but thats alot of work to do over. Wouldn't it be great if you could craft these items in PL? Of course it shouldn't be too easy but it should be possible by combining items or achieving an objective.

Gaining those heads from one of the aztecs-missions would be possible. But what items would you want to combine to get a shrunken head? Only way i can think of would be a little cruel. You would need to sacrifce one of your Monteriggioni mercs using a sacred dagger and put the head into ether.

It's not like we're entitled to an update or to them keeping their word. We never paid for this game so it's not really realistic to expect anything more from them. Yeah, it would be nice to get more content or at least a progress update, but really, the whole game is a lot better than nothing at all (which is what we paid for it).

In my opinion, they'll release a new build for the game sometime after the next console AC game is announced officially (probably at E3). That way, they can build hype for the next storyline or setting. If that doesn't happen, maybe an update will come when Revelations is released for another cross platform tie-in. Whether the game is free or not, we are all still entitled to them keeping their word. If they can't get the content out "soon", it would only be good public relations on their part to let people know there is a delay. No we are not entitled to an update, but when they told us one was coming "soon", and then more than 3 months go by and all communication with their fans stops, that is just going to leave a bad taste in our mouths. They're hurting their own brand's good will by doing this. All it would take is for them to at least tell us it's not actually coming soon, but in a matter of months. In a way, Ubi is damned if they do and damned if they don't. Sony ran into this. They didn't want to give a date for when PSN would be back, because they didn't know how long it would take and didn't want to give a date and then miss it. People complained, saying they at least wanted an estimated date, so Sony finally gave an estimate. And when they missed it, people complained and said they shouldn't have given a date if they weren't sure.

I agree that more communication would be nice, but then again whenever they say "We're working on it" people just use the thread to *****. Given how rude some people are, I'm not surprised they don't want to say anything until they can give a reasonably accurate estimate.

Whether they give a date and miss it, or don't give a date at all, people post abusive comments. They can't win, so they've apparently decided to opt for the "don't give a date until you know it'll be good" option.

I am not sure that I would agree that Ubisoft games aren't as good as I thought they were - on the contrary, I have been VERY pleased with the quality of the games I have purchased. My issues with Ubisoft center ONLY around how poorly they seem to be performing here in this forum. Their lack of attention to detail HERE suggests that their could be problems should a malfunction arise requiring contact with customer support.

I had the same issue with some achievments. What I did to fix it was to refresh the screen. Basically reloading the Facebook app, and then doing some random thing like accessing a memory or buying some cheap item. This sets off an update of some kind and then poof! As if by some form of assassin magic, there's your achievment.

I will admit that I have been reduced to a point of getting some type of perverse pleasure out of watching this scenario unfold. I am somewhat different than the norm relative to gamer demographics (age, background, etc.), so I can see why I may look at this situation differently than others.

I own all of the games in the AC series (loved them all) in addition to PL. Like many of you, I came to PL as a way to stay connected to the whole Assassin's Creed experience while waiting for the next installment. However, the disconnect I feel after having followed this thread has cooled my enthusiasm for the series. It is likely that I will NOT be following up with the next release. I am just glued to this thread waiting to see where it goes next. Sadly,when it plays out to conclusion, I will likely move on.

Guys, seriously, it's not that hard to work out.

The "Divine Science" update was originally supposed to coincide with the release of the "Da Vinci Disappearance" DLC and the PC version of Brotherhood. When they realised that it wasn't going to be ready in time, it got pushed back and combined with a complete overhaul of the entire UI, which presumably had been planned for some time. However, because there is now no new Assassin's Creed content to promote, there is no incentive for them to finish it - why should Ubisoft waste resources developing a free game when there's very little in it for them?

I'd expect some more updates to Legacy in the weeks leading up to the release of Revelations. Until then, I wouldn't hold your breath.

Perhaps the events since your comments will bring home the crux of the unrest on this message board. It ISN'T that the rumored (won't say promised) update have not arrived. Although the long time in comming IS a sore spot for some, rather the issue is larger and relates more to the failure of moderators or Ubisoft personnel to RESPOND.

Since your comment, two posters have commented on a problem they are having with accessing the game, and in SEVERAL days, no moderator OR Ubisoft rep has either commented OR suggested a potential solution. The lack of response is the greater issue by far.

I just wanted to say that I've personally had issues with running project legacy on my computer the past couple of weeks. The main issue was struggling to get mnemonics to actually activate. Then I was having the connection issues where either it would never start loading, or I would get to the home page and then would state there was an error and I would have to reload.

However, the past couple of days, I've noticed the performance has really improved. I'm connecting immediately, being able to activate my mnemonics and things are running pretty smoothly. So I want to thank the people who are working on this. People here seem very quick to bash the people working on this, but I think it should be pointed out when they do get things working.

I'm as frustrated as others with the lack of the new story packs and the new DDS. I don't know why its not been released but the only thing we can do is be patient. Yelling at the people is not going to make this come any quicker. If you really were frustrated with what was going on, then the easiest thing to do would be to simple stop playing, don't log on to the game.

Same here. I created a facebook account for the livebythecreed community but never used it except for submitting drawings. But because of PL, I now use facebook to keep track of the AC and Ubiworkshop! I still don't use it that much but have put in enough time to reach lvl 56 (not much, I know).

A couple of things I find odd, some missions in Rome need items from the Italy set, but when you click on them it just takes you to the Italy set, not the memory where the item is found, this can be confusing...

If you are in the crafting menu when in Rome set and you need an item from the Italian Wars set; you see a button that says "Access Set". Once you click this you get to the first chapter of the set. At this point, the button changes to "Access Memory" when you click this button you go straight into the memory.

I stumbled upon this by accident; but fairly straightforward once you get used to it.

If they do give a date and miss it, people complain, even if the date is as vague as "coming soon." And given the way computer stuff often works, no matter how certain they are about a date a couple of months in advance, there's no guarantee that something wouldn't come up to force them to slip the date.

I would rather have "We will let you know" more than Coming soon. Because coming soon gives that impression. A date can be wrong too. But saying we will let you know doesn't give any kind of limitation and would really mean that perhaps it is on hold. Just saying Coming Soon and have that be that way for a year isn't really working. Also We have been waiting for the holiday section to open up for about that time too. 2011 is on its way out. It would be at least nice to know when that is gonna fill the rest of the way in.

I think Al Taiir remained relatively unknown because he was middel-eastern and not European. The series began with him and his contributions to the Assassins cause but he only appeared in a PSP title of the game (Bloodlines) and was removed from the scene to be replaced by Ezio ... Although I like Ezio but I eagerly wait the return of Al Taiir cause I think the game owes its success to him...

I am unable to connect to project legacy on facebook and it seems there is an error with the certificate. I am using Google chrome and when I want to load the game page in facebook it gives me this error message:

I'm really really disappointed with ubisoft. And I must say, I'm a real fan of the assassin's creed series, so it makes my disappointment even deeper...

I started to play project legacy in May to unlock 2 capes in Assassin'c Creed Brotherhood. I didn't really understand why I have to spend hours with an online game to unlock something in another game what I've payed for...

I didn't stop playing the P.L. though because of the Revelations which coming out in 2 weeks... During these 6 month I haven't seen any communication from ubisoft. They haven't said that the project has been dropped or when we can expect an update, nothing... Even worse, they simply ignore our complaints (I have seen quite a lot in the forum) And a company which is based on it's fans cannot afford such a behaviour.

I do hope that somebody frm the marketing department sees this...

I think it is safe to say that Project Legacy has been abandoned: there is a new Facebook game as of 10/27, "Path to Revelations". Compared to Project Legacy, it's really lame.

i didn't start playing the assassin's creed series until a bit after brotherhood came out, so i wasn't around to be sure of this, but from what i see online, project legacy started the day before brotherhood came out. so if youre not pretty much convinced that it's dead yet, i think we will know soon. of course it would be nice if they actually said something, instead of leaving us hanging for months on end. yeah, i would love the game to continue and updates to come, but more than anything i just want to know whats going on, even if its dead

It's been a really long time and still nothing new for Project Legacy. I just picked up my copy of Assassin's Creed: Revelations at the midnight release. Any plans to use Revelations with project legacy??? I hope you guys haven't stopped with Project legacy. I still find myseld on here almost every day hoping for new stuff.

One of the unlockable Abstergo files in Revelations multiplayer (Level 11 - File.0.05\Prj_Ongoing) is the fictional Abstergo's information on Project Legacy. It reads, "THIS PROJECT IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD DUE TO SECURITY CONCERNS" which fits with the Project Legacy storyline of Erudito's constant hacking of the system. Though this isn't an official update from Ubisoft concerning the Facebook game , Project Legacy, it does seem like if it was abandoned in the story, they may have abandoned it too.

Well in the encyclopedia, it says that the Project Legacy has been interupted since Erudito hack. So we can say than yes, it's dead for the moment. Maybe for AC 3 but I don't have any hopes for that.

considering its been 4 months since they have said "anything" (which was really nothing at all, neither its dead or alive), and even longer since they updated it, many of us set what little hope we had on an update to go along with the Revelations release, just like with Brotherhood. but we got nothing. its dead

I asked about this when they announced the new Facebook game (https://www.facebook.com/assassinscreed/posts/139688706132671). Ubi's response was "This is not meant to be a replacement for Project Legacy. It is an additional Facebook activity specific to Assassin's Creed Revelations." Just wanted to point this out, I have been playing the revelations multiplayer lately and it unlocks little bits of information from abstergo which states that project legacy has been put on hold due to security risks, this may be the reason for delay, to hold to their story and will probably release it later in the holiday season

The Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia says something similar in the Project Legacy Section, something like security concerns had forced Project Legacy to be put on hold. It also talks about Anson Peake the in universe head of PL and again says that securiity breaches resulted in it being put on hold.
It also says he's gone missing so i get the feeling this will be part of some new AR game for when they do eventually bring PL back. (if they do which im really hoping for as it's the best game on facebook).

Hey whats going on ubisoft ?? i've been waiting for the dds update for at least 8 months and it still says coming soon ?! i was expecting it with the release of revelations however there has been no change. So my question is when will this dds ever come out ? Or if it is already out can you reply with a link to said update to this post. thank you

they have since released path to revelations that has nothing to do with nothing it seems to be nothing but videos and pictures nothing substantial considering you can only play once a day and if you mess up a location too bad. then theres an ipod touch/iphone app for it that does absolutely nothing. i prefer project legacy if they have replaced it with path to revelations then i am not happy

Obviously something's happening with DDS 2.0, the main protagonists are revealed on the Wikipedia page.
Chapter 1- Maria Amiel, an Italian scholar's assisstant
Chapter 2- Kyros of Zarax, a descendant of Pythagoras of samos(inventor of Pythagorean theorem for sides of triangles)
Chapter 3- Elizabeth Jane Weston, step-daughter of Edward Kelly who was from Prague
Chapter 4- Frater V.O.V., a member of the Hermetic tradition in the Victorian era

The Wiki has more than the characters, they've got every line of dialogue from every memory in the Divine Science chapters...and has had them posted for quite a while, just as the Dev corner has screenshots of updates since April which they never implemented.

I don't know where the Wiki got the info, and, more maddening, why it still hasn't been released if they've already written it all.
