I already put down $50 for it at Gamestop. I emailed Gamestop about it, and if it turns out they are not selling it, I'm cancelling my pre-order and going to EB Games. I don't understand why they wouldn't sell it.

I work for the Gamestop in the Citadel Mall in Colorado Springs. I haven't looked in the computers to see if the LCE is among the list, but just because it's not in the machine does not mean we won't receive any copies.
I'll check tomorrow (if I remember) and get back to this thread with a more positive answer. Don't go to the trouble of retaining your reserve just yet.

I am still deciding. Regular or LCE? The Gamestop is way closer to my house, and either way CT is the same game.

i wouldn't worry if you have reserved it, because the stores will order enough for the the people who preorderd it and then order some more for other people.

Meh, I think I'm just going to get the regular version. I mean the extra stuff is cool, but not worth the gas money. The game is the same for both versions. I don't want to look at extras, I just wanna play!

Do you think when the release date comes, there will still be SCCT:LCE still in stock to buy at the stores?
Another question. Is the contents of the LCE final? or could they still add some stuff? Well, I guess I could always upgrade my pre-order if I get one. Hmm.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I don't know why I want the LCE. I don't care about *10 hours* of Behind the scenes and the making of.
*= I know people are going to take that as confirmed or whatever, but it's not. I was guessing and exaggerrating.

OOOOOO, I don't know if I should pre-order. What's so great about the LCE contents? What...what...oh, I just,...I DON'T KNOW!!!! Should I pre-order it?
Personally the 10 extra dollars isn't worth it for me. I care about two things. The single player game, and co-op. SvM should be fun, but not as hyped for me.

the CE is $54.99.plus if you preorder you have to pay for shipping and tax for the game.which comes up for $66.67.

I'll be pre-ordering the Collectors Edition just because... well, I don't know why actually. Because I'm a big Splintercell fan and I feel I have to express that by lining Ubi's pockets even more? Maybe, but when I think about it, the regular version seems like it has a ton of bonus features all by itself. Single player, Co-op, S v M... But it is tempting at the same time also to watch the behind the scenes footage for sure. I love watching programmers work on their computer! When I put it in that light, I'm just like, WOW! I could watch them do that? For only $5 more? SOLD! In conclusion, I think I'm tired. I'm gonna hit the sack.

OK, it's decided. I'll get the SCCT:LCE! My mom agreed to buy it, but I don't know when. Maybe tomorrow. I told her it was LIMITED edition, so I hope it's still there.

I checked the list today. Gamestop will have copies and plenty of them. There is no need to switch your order or reserve.

i reserved a copy of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory special edition and a copy of Far Cry for Xbox at Game Stop on january 9th. and i only have to pay for the game. there is no shipping and handling charges.
ubisoft is behind both games so they oughta be good.
i can't wait. the guy at the counter said they were both supposed to come out around the same time.

ya i probably will stay with gamestop, except that i have gift cards worth 24 dollars on EB Games. So im gonna switch just so I can get it cheaper.
