Hmm, I'm wondering if someone could help me here. I downloaded the FarCry single-player demo to see how it would run on my system, to see if it was worth buying. Well, I can run the game, however, all the land, and models, except for the foliage ( http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif ) are a shade of blue, which, as you can probably guess, makes it extremely hard to see what to do, heheh..

Anyway, I was hoping someone here would know how I could fixd that problem, so I could better enjoy my gaming experience http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

My system is on the (very?) low end, here are the (rough, haven't checked lately) specs:
1.8 GH CPU
512 MB Ram
NVidia Geforce 5200, latest drivers

Also, for the record, I'm currently using the Direct 3D renderer.

Thanks in advance to those who help!

[EDIT] I see someone mentioned in another thread that the patch would solve this.. So I wonder, does the patch work with the demo?

Hmm, that's a pain.. Now it's just a question of whether I want to shoot 75 bucks ( everything is kinda expensive here in iceland...) on a game which I don't even know will run http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Oh well, time will tell all...

If you want to play the demo then download the 56.72 drivers and install them .
After you have finished playing the demo you can always reinstall your present drivers .

You should try this as your specs are on the low end to play this game . It will still look great even at low settings and low res but you will get low fps. So try the demo first.
