i dont have an answer to your question, but i have a question of my own.

how do you like your 9800Pro? i just ordered one, along with another 512Mb of RAM, hoping that the game will come alive.

It's a far cry from my older 9200 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif. You will love it lol. I was just playing UT 2004, all settings max, got around 110 FPS. Well worth the purchase.

I was so used to the 9200 I didn't even notice the low FPS in gameplay.... After playing Far Cry with this the first time, I was tempted to crank all the settings up to very high. I did that, and by my standerds, it still ran it okedoke =)

Mine is currently at 420/380 with no problems. I have not taken it any further than that. However, I also have ramsinks and an aftermarket cooler on my 9800Pro. You won't get very far (with the core speed anyway) with the stock cooler.

-ABIT NF7-S (nForce2)
-Mobile Barton 2600+@2.3GHz
-Radeon 9800 Pro @ 420/380
-2x512MB Corsair XMS @ 2-2-2-11
-Audigy2 Platinum
