Has anyone had the problem where when your watching a DVD the picture constantly goes dark then bright then dark then bright. Help! thanks

The Xbox darkens the picture after a few minutes sometimes, is that it?

no, the games work fine and video tapes work fine but not dvd's.

See if you can find a button that does nothing. Press it when that happens. That's all I can think of.

this same thing happened to me when i got my DVD thingy- you have it connected through the VCR and you need to connected directly to the TV. that way you cant burn DVD's to tapes. at least thats wat the xbox support guy said over the phone.

Maybe the Xbox has been inactive for a certain amount of minutes and then you moved a button on the controller or something. I'm serious....
