In-game private messaging

I had someone message me in a mp game today, their text was grey and there was a (private) next to their name. How does this work.

I've had this before too... I think its a joke, using grey colored text with a self typed (Private) before it...

I was pretty sure the (Private) part came before the msg but after the text labels...

It is indeed a private message to you that does not show up on the main board... hence the name... private message.

And yes... you can type something in grey to attempt to pysch someone out I suppose, but everyone will see that one. There is a private message function... it shows up in grey... and no one else sees it but you. Try it out http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

when in the game hit esc. where it shows if you want to be grunt/engie/sniper and the box in the bottom right that says all just click it and select the name of the person you want to PM then just type in the box to the left
