The Background looks nice. But there's nothing really special yet. The tabs don't even open you up to another page.

I'll keep Driver-4.com in mind when details about the game begin to surface throughout the magazines.

Which background ? You mean the Chevelle ? You didn't wait dude, after 6 longs seconds you'll be redirected to the site. And on the site, there's a shoutbox, a forum, you can post comments, read articles, post your ideas, etc.

If you can't click on anything, means that you probably use IE, but our site works only on Firefox, Opera, Netscape, Safari, Camino and an old IE version.

Thanks, that's very nice from you http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I just said it before, the site doesn't work if you have IE http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Use any other browser and you'll be able to post comments, use he shoutbox, read all the different articles, etc ... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

BTW : I'm gonna put what you said in the headlines bar !

I know this might be off topic, but I just realized that I've been on the Ubisoft Forums for exactly a year now!http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/partyhat.gif

Anyway, about the website. The background looks nice, but I probably don't have the most up-to-date computer to view all of it.

Which background ? The background is black.

Maybe you're on dial-up and what you see is the Chevrolet Chevelle on the index page, which redirects you to the main page, but if you're on dial-up, as mentioned before, it doesn't redirect you or at least it takes too long, so if you want to see the site , here's the link: http://www.driver-4.com/home

PS: For IE everything is blocked.
Yep, we hate IE, IE sucks.

No, I meant on the home page. I like those blueprints of those 1957 Chevy Belair looking cars on the top of the page. And the Chevelle looks cool too on when the site launches up.

I don't think that I'll bother going to a fan-site. Sorry, but considering that the Driver franchise has been such a letdown in many ways for me, I'd rather stick with posting here. However, only this time, I'll be more relying on showing reviews for D1, D2, D3, and DPL to have everyone look at my opinions. It feels too hopeless for me, even as being someone to post around such a place as this, to think that just because I'm contributing suggestions for any future Driver games to come, I'd be better off criticizing in my reviews of what went wrong, what was done right, and possibly even what can be done differently.

If you don't want to, you don't need to, but remember that one more fansite you are, the more information you will get. Not because of the news or things like that, but simply that fans discover news things which aren't mentioned here. You know, I'm registered on every Driver fansite I know, Driver-Dimension.com, Drivermadness.net, Planet-Driver.com, Driver-3.com, Driver3.net, IGN boards ( Driver forum ), Ubi forums ( Driver section ), Atari community ( When Driver was published by Atari ), etc...

And that gives me a lot of information http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

Why doesn't your site work on IE, isn't that the most used internet... finder? Even if you hate it, whats so bad about it anyway?

It just has a bad reputation.

For security risks and such and it true I go to use lots of computers and Internet Explorer doesn't even work I have to find Firefox and everything works perfectly.

Browser compatibility is one of the most annoying things in web development. Different browsers support and work different ways than other browsers and a site on one browser can look competently different on another browser.

Driver Madness is facing these issues on a lower scale, when users post in IE they can use the tags but in firefox they still work but they annoyingly take you back to the bottom of everything you've written.

Nothing to bad, just a little annoying.
After some research it seems to do it on lots of forums with firefox, but as I said isn't that bad.

Other than that firefox is perfect! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Download Firefox here and 50cents goes to supporting Driver Madness fansite http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Not very much compared to the hosting bill these days, but helps a little http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
