Serenia...??? How do you get there...?

I can't figure it out..!!

I see by the forum that many people are there now...or have been there...however....

I have explored Haven & Spire (haven't solved any puzzles yet)...but...I don't understand how people are getting the this place called Serenia..?

Also...I think there is supposed to be a garden somewhere near Yeesha's bedroom. Right..? Where..?


Could someone please give me gentle nudge..?

you have to solve Spire first. when you return to Tomahna from Spire the Serenia linking book will be made available to you.

I've been pulling my hair out trying to find Serenia..!! Whew...it's not just me..!!!

BulaRae isn't quite right. When you explore enough of either Spire or Haven, then link back to Tomahna, you will see Achenar doing something over by Yeesha's bedroom. (You don't have to finish either prison Age to see this.) After you see what he does, you have to go to Yeesha's bedroom and find a way down to the lower level to get the Serenia Book.

There is also another way to it behind Catherine's workplace. It is in the same room where Exile takes place with the stealing of the book.

But you can't get into the Exile room until you've been to Serenia, right?

I'd also like to reassert JustBrett's statement (since there seems to be confusion).
1. You do not need to finish Spire (or Haven) to get to Serenia. You just have to go there and come back.
2. It doesn't have to be Spire. Either Spire or Haven will work.

Yeah, sorry about that... when I was at that stage of the game I had gone straight through Spire so that's why I thought you had to finish it.

Anyway, I ended up going to Serenia then found out I needed to go to Haven to solve a puzzle... thought I had what I needed and went back to Serenia to discover that I had to complete Haven, so I went back and when I arrived in Tomahna from Serenia the second time is when I was let into Atrus' study.

A small correction to EMS's post. You won't be able to get to Serenia by just going to Spire and Haven and then linking back. You have to explore a little first. I don't know how much you have to do (I haven't experimented enough), but I have tried just linking to Spire and Haven and immediately linking back (from a new game). That was not enough to trigger the Achenar linking to Serenia cutscene.

When I returned from Haven (after completing both that Age and Spire) I didn't see a cut-scene involving Achenar...but it was obvious from glancing around Yeesha's bedroom that something had happened in there while I'd been away.
