View Full Version : Why do some people have to wait for the game.?!

At my gamestop in New Mexico we have to wait till the 19th to get the game, and in some other states. What i want to know is why we have to wait longer the some other states for the game that is suppose to come out on the 18th.

The ship date is the 18th. The actual street date is the 19. Some stores got the game early, and that is why they are selling them. My local EB games won't have it 'till tomorrow.

Everyone that has gotten there RSV2 coppy from Gamestop or EB Games. Other places like Best Buy and Circuit City you must wait until 19th for release dates go to this thread.

You gotta love that "Last edited on March 17th", prior to that it listed official date as March 18th.

When I asked the dude at the Gamestop why it wasnt in, he said the store wasnt close to a distribution center to get it in time to stock on the day of release.
We had a little talk about it lol, he wants to play it as well but if they dont get the game by noon they can not stock it for that day's sales. I went in at 4pm and the truck was supposed to arrive in an hour or so.
I dont know where the 'distribution centers' are bc I'm about 90 minutes outside of Pittsburgh and you'd think that would be a fairly easy drive for a trucker to make.

No, The ship date was NOT the 18th.. i have freinds who work for ups.. etc.. ALL those stores did not get the game in less than a day... Sorry .. NOT possible. just a shoddy release.

I pre-ordered from gamestop it is already shipped an will be here by 3:00 tomorrow.
