When is the hermetic story pack going to come out. It's said coming soon for a few months, just wondering when it's going to come out?

I've been wondering that too and it's getting to be really annoying. I wish they would just tell us when it was going to come instead of leaving it so vague. I understand they want to build excitement, but after a certain point it just leads to frustration because you want to play the game and it just feels like they are jerking you off without the common decency of a happy ending or a proper reach-around.

They started the 25% off AP and teased the Divine Science pack on Monday, February 28. So it's been 5 1/2 weeks now. I'd be surprised if they release the new stuff on a Friday, so it could end up being 6 weeks from when they teased the new content until it is released. I'm glad that they're releasing a little info now, but I wish they would give us a more specific time than "soon," even now. After over 5 weeks, soon can mean anything.
Having said all that, I do understand how complicated this kind of project can get and that it's hard to predict how long it will end up taking. Hopefully next time they can wait to tease new stuff until it's closer to being ready.

If you're going to quote my stuff, at least have the brains to actually respond to what I am saying. I never said it has been "Months." I was simply agreeing with the frustration of the OP. Please .

I think he was referring to RedRocketKGB's comment, who actually mentioned the word "months". It's possible he meant to reply to him instead.

I just saw how Black_Widow9 censored some of my posts. What is this, kindergarten? Are we all five years old again? Come on!
Oh, and back to the original subject. It has now been well over two months since the promised new story pack and DDS 2.0 update. It has become a joke at how long this is taking with no news from anyone about how long it is going to take.
My guess is that we'll get the new Assassin's Creed game before we get the new story pack.

Yep, this has definitely been frustrating. The worst part is the lack of communication, even though it seemed like they were going to be doing a good job of that when they set up this forum a month ago. I was sarcastically thinking the new console game was going to be announced before this came out, and unfortunately that has now come true.
But I had an interesting thought today. I wonder if this has been delayed because Project Legacy is going to be used to help promote and build excitement for Revelations through the next 6 months. They couldn't have started doing that until the game itself was announced, and it might explain why they have been quiet about it.
Notice in the screenshots of the DDS 2.0 that where the Florins are displayed in the interface, there is a dropdown arrow to the right of the Florins. This makes me think that you'll be swapping between different types of currencies in the new interface, meaning some memories will start to take place outside of Italy. I'm thinking maybe Constantinople, like the new Assassin's Creed Revelations game. We can also see from the story set selection screen that there appears to be another set in addition to Divine Science that's off-screen.
Another interesting point is the future of Project Legacy. Is this intended to be an ongoing companion to the main series, or is it meant to end this year? Something interesting that popped up in the GameStop description of Revelations (that's since been removed) was this:
<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">And for the first time, extend your gameplay experience with an Assassin's Creed spin-off game.
ADDED-VALUE BONUS GAMEPLAY - NEW!
For the first time in franchise history, experience a game within a game, featuring hours of Animus-dedicated gameplay in an Assassin's Creed spin-off. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Notice how they mention an Assassin's Creed spin-off game that will let you extend your gameplay experience and have a game within a game. That sounds like Project Legacy. But because it's described as Animus-dedicated gameplay, I wonder if they will create a new Facebook game that will interact with Revelations.
Off-topic pondering finished for now...

No, we aren't in kindergarten, but we ARE on a public web site. Ubi is simply being smart. I respectfully acknowledge your maturity, but some other people might not be of an appropriate age to be seeing mature language. Also, it is very likely that some kid might just stumble across this site. That sort of thing can lead to all kinds of awkwardness and legal issues. I suggest you demonstrate your maturity in a more subtle, refined manner.
As to the topic at hand:
This is indeed a frustrating issue. But we must recognize the fact that the Ubi techies are rather busy with ACR. This is an entire, full-on console and PC release. The AC dept. of Ubi is probably dedicating most of it's forces and resources at that. ACPL is sort of lower on the checklist.
Also, the mere act of overhauling and expanding an extensively used Facebook game while preserving all the data for each and every user, including the link-up info with ACB, in multiple languages, is a colossal undertaking. Those poor Ubi techies are probably consuming more caffeine than water.
I bet they are doing all the modifications separately, then when they've got all the kinks ironed out, they'll shut down ACPL for a couple of hours and apply all the changes in one clean sweep. This method will probably turn out better than trying to kludge (http://thereifixedit.failblog.org/) it over and over.

It has been observed that a late game is only late until it comes out, but a bad game is bad forever (though nowadays patches can fix that http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif ).
While I'd like to have the update fast, I'd rather they take their time and do it right than rush it because people online are complaining and then give us something buggy. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Another disappointing aspect of this has been that I think what most of us want most is new content, not necessarily an updated game interface. I realize that adding a fourth story set to the game would have made the klunky navigation even more awkward and this needed to be addressed. But I think most of us would have preferred that they release the Divine Science pack first like they advertised, and then update to DDS 2.0. It's also awkward because when it was advertised the Divine Science pack sounded like a tie-in with the Da Vinci Disappearance DLC that came out right around the same time, both of them dealing with the Hermeticists. That feels like ancient history now. It's frustrating that we can't get new content until they get the technical issues of rewriting the game from scratch dealt with.

I have to admit, the wait is becoming extremely frustrating, I have pretty much exhausted project legacy now, well actually did so several weeks ago, so are we definitely going to have to wait until revelations launched, because to be honest, by that time, I think I will be past caring, and Divine science will be eclipsed by the new game, unless Ubisoft is going to make the effort to connect it with the new game as they did with brotherhood. But I suppose we will have to wait and see....

When we were getting new content but things like sending/accepting friend requests were broken, people were complaining that they were putting out new story content instead of fixing bugs :-).
That said, I do with they'd either give us some new stuff or take down the "coming soon" banner -- it's just annoying after this long.

I think they're trying to make a story wich ties to ACR somehow that that's why it's taking so long..
Guess we will see, patience is a virtue.

Yeah, I read through all of it. I feel that saying it's quite interesting would be an understatement. Some really good stuff up to the point that I find it hard to understand what exactly's happening in the final chapter.
Lots of PoE references.

hopefully they add new levels, so you can go to 200. would be a waste of all those experience points.

About the secure files, there are some key words that catched my eye.
Erudito told "I think they were planning this for the Summer Solstice..." and in the memories the bold words were: midsummer; 25th; Saint John's Day; June 24th; June 21st.
Caps Lock: FORMULA; NOW; FEAR; THEM; REAL; DIVINE SCIENCE; MAD; MAD; LIVING; EMET; THAT; MY; MY; BEFORE; THEY; THE BOOK; HIM; IMPERATOR; THE BOOK; OUR; UNIQUE; THEY; THEM; HIM; MY.
[]: [Pythagoras]; [St. John's Day]; [tome]; [formulas]; [Assassin]; [Zeus]; [Hermes Trismegistus]
I still don't know how, but these words may connect. A hidden message?

I'll look at the words from the Divine Science some more to see if there's some kind of message, but they may just be for emphasis. There's also always the chance that these emphasized words are supposed to signify some feature in the DDS 2.0, where clicking on them does something. All the bold words from the new chapter relate to the holiday these memories surround — Midsummer's Day on June 24, also known as St. John's Day in some places. Interestingly, this is also Ezio's birthday.
