Alright so the RED X made it's presence known almost immediately (read IMMEDIATELY) at the opening screen when the RSE paper sticks to the wall, but after unplugging the controller and rebooting, it has thus far, appeared to work fine.

That being said, the sound is really nice. The graphics are top notch. The weather effects nice (I like to watch the wind blowing the tree branches on occasion.)

The AI is downright dumb as a box of rocks. Both my team and the enemy. I've posted on this already so I won't do it again.

I also like that I failed a mission, then restarted and my loadout remained the same. Don't remember tha last GR2 doing that but it's been so lonog I may have just forgotten. The camo works, I like it.

That's it for now. If you have problems with the RED X, try unplugging your controller and rebooting. I agree it should be fixed and should have never been released like this, but if this is all that it takes, then it's an improvement on GR2.

have you tried it more than once, or is your xbox still on from the first time you got it to work?

try turning off your xbox and doing the unplugged controller trick again to see if it was just luck or what

thanks http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I did and didn't even unplug the controller. It worked fine and loaded right up.

so i guess it's just random them...i'm gonna pick it up today or tomorrow

but the thing is, people shouldn't HAVE to resort to trying to find ways to make it work in the first place...bugs like these should have been fixed before the selling of these games...

The tree branches swayed in the breeze in the PC version of GR. I was shot a few times as I stared at the awesomeness of GR when the demo first came out.

I can imagine doing that too while I was staring at the sky....

I just spent a couple hours playing the MP part. The maps are awesome and the game feels a lot more like GR1 for me than GR2. I never once got the red X.

Also, once you get past the Red X one time you will be fine as long as the game cache is on your hard drive.

geez, whenever I stare at the trees or the sky people just point at me and laugh http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

anyway, yes, so far the AI are still dumb as rocks. But no red X yet. Maybe when I start again http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif
