I have seen a lot of people say they are happy with the Gainward. Look here for Gainward feedbacks http://secure.newegg.com/app/CustratingReview.asp?DEPA=1&item=14-128-195

I haven't seen anything on the sparkle's.

Considered a BFG?

BFG Website (http://www.bfgtech.com/)
I bought a BFG 6800 GT OC (`O`verc`C`locked out the box)

Superb performance - and will OC more to Ultra speeds - save a â£100 or so and stick with this one http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I recently purchased an EVGA 6800GT after looking at several brands. I ruled out the 6800 ultra because the slight added performance does not seen to justify the huge price jump. The vanilla 6800 only has 12 pipes and 128mb of ram and a much slower clock speed.

The reason I chose the EVGA was price (and an online retailer I trusted had them in stock). All the manufactures 6800GT's seem about the same to me and most are based on the NVIDIA ref. board.

The 6800GT runs LOMAC great! Turn on all the visual goodies and enjoy.

Surely you run medium settings ?

4 x AA 4 x AF and Medium setings for me - higher is too much... if only I`d gone AMD FX as well lol http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Hi Conuk,

I am running at 1280 by 1024, default settings to "High". It looks great and is running smoothly... at least in the training missions.

My system is an AMD Athlon 64 2800+, MSI Neo Platinum MB, EVGA 6800 GT, 512 MB ddr 3200, all at stock speeds.
