I didn't buy this game but for the three days I spent playing it what fun. I was a little skeptical to try this with reviews ranging from 4's to 9's. After playing the game you might as well throw out all the 4,5,9, 10's and let the game settle somewhere inbetween a 7 and an 8. Anyway, this game is a trip. From starting off in Black and White then moving into color, wow. There are some trippy moments like when a gas grenade is thrown the screen gets like a thermal or gamma camera. The graphics are crazy. It's kind of like BioShock on Acid.

*The only thing I have to say about the reviews are to the people who say it's a gears clone. First of all Gears of War didn't invent cover. That goes to Killswitch or maybe some other game before that. All games should let you use cover. This game is a third person shooter. It's in a genre. For all the people complaining about it being a clone, it's more of a take on BioShock than anything.

With that said three days of fun for 60 bucks, no don't think so. Three days of fun for 8 bucks, that's fine.

*For those idiots who think the Glaive is this wildly inventive weapon, it's not.

There was an old movie named Krull that sported a glaive. Except that had 5 blades instead of 3.
