Bats at 90% on beam...help

Can anyone help...I'm at about 90%, go to jump from the bar to the beam and the bats get me in mid air every time! I can't seem to get to the beam to have a chance of hitting them...any ideas?

I never encountered anything like that while I was playing. But then again, I always killed the bats immediately before progressing.

Perhaps you should wait for the bats to attack you, kill them, and then continue.

Farah Come Back (90%)

Slide to the left of the bar.
Line yourself up with a narrow wooden beam on the other side.
Due to camera angles, you may need to aim slightly left of the beam.
When you land on the wooden beam, some bats will swoop to attack you. Kill them.
etc.
