I wouldnt mind if they're free.
but if the first 2-3 characters are free, chances are they won't release any more downloadable characters after that.
if they turn the character downloads into a business people who are interested pay to add to their selection, the profits made from that would convince Ubisoft to offer even more characters in the future, and even more after that.
it's a fair optional trade. a few bucks for more characters.
Otherwise, people might as well just remain with their meager 13 characters and weep for more.

no some fans just expect every extra free when they don't care how the world works involving giving to receive.
people only payed 60 bucks for the game and what it already contains. but anything extra would be at a fair price. Also Ubisoft are nice enough to make the Japanese VA download free, from what I heard, so before people say Ubisoft doesn't care, they should consider the work involved to provide these extras.

Why complain so much about ilack of characters, if you hate it that much then dont buy the game and shut up.
I feel that they should release 1-3 characters free and the rest should be payed for. That way it pleases the consumer and the producers.

maybe they aren't extras...maybe ubi left the characters out of the final code, just to turn a profit or maybe to appease microsoft & their quest to make you buy microsoft points. if it is actual content that they created much later & wasn't just held back, sure have some more of my money, just be fair with the pricing. but before the age of downloadable content on consoles...companies released whole games'

why complain? Becuase when a developer announces they will offer downloadable content for characters before the game is anywhere near done, thats messed up
