Many people keep saying that Assassin's Creed 2 is waaaayyyyy easier than Assassin's Creed 1. I don't believe that. I've been playing Assassin's Creed 2 and it's way harder and challenging than the first. Please tell me what you think about this! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif

I thought that neither of them were overly difficult, but the first was boring until the end, so it was harder to sit through it, while the second was much more enjoyable, and easier to lose track of time and play to the end. So maybe people just think the second was easier because they spent more time on it because of immersion so they finished it faster. That happened to me for sure.

Night is completely right (lawl, rhymed).

For me, I played through half of AC1 (when it was still new), completed it after getting AC2. AC2 took 1-3 weeks to complete. That says--AC2 is much more entertaining. Kept the attention there, longer then AC1 could.

Both games are really easy...I really hope Ubi works over the damage system more for AC3...

AC2 got that Notoriety witch you need to keep track off in order to walk more freely and a few new type of enemies witch require different ways to eliminate and stuff...

But the notoriety is really easy to reduce (just 1-2 side missions and you're done) and all you can do with the enemies is to fight them - and the fighting system in AC2 is even more easier than AC1...

I don't think either game was hard at all! But AC1 in my opinion was the harder of the 2. Although I think countering in AC2 is more difficult, and the enemies attack more than one at a time.

Heres what i think.

Enemys in AC1 were much better at combat, and also the damage system was alot harder. no armor that detracts from damage, ETC.

Guards in ac2, however, arent as good, but they can do team attacks (no ones ever had them circle you and then two attack at the same time?) but then again, due to the armor, it doesnt really matter, they can hit you for about 2 minutes straight before you die.
