I have just spent the past 4 hours downloading the digital deluxe edition. I have Win-7 64-bit, and when i try to run the 'Assassins_Creed_Brotherhood_Setup_EMEA.part01.exe ' setup file I get the message
'Not compatable with this version of windows check your computers system information to find out whether you need a 86x (32-bit) or 64x (64-bit)version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.'
I can't understand why on earth the file isn't working. I had no other option to download another version at any point.

It looks like there might be 2 different versions of the setup file, which you are trying to install.
One for 64 bit, and the other for 32 bit. Was there any other 'Assassins_Creed_Brotherhood_Setup_EMEA.part01.exe ' file, for your 64 bit OS ??
Have you tried installing under 'Windows XP Compatibility mode ? And do u have full Administrator rights under Windows 7 ? if u continue to face this issue, try to contact the Customer Help and Support department of the Digital Store, from where you are downloading this game.

Yes I have full admin rights. And Yes i have tried running it in compatability mode and seeing as my operating system is 64-bit it should run a 32 bit without issue. So I have no idea what to do.

I don't think you have downloaded the complete file/s. Based on my experience, filenames with *.partxx.exe in them are most likely part of a self-extracting archive, which means that your particular installer might have *.part01.exe, *.part02 and so on.
Just so that you have a file size comparison, my copy from GamersGate is 7.78 GB.

Hmmm. The solution to your problem is quite simple, but...
From what digital distribution site did you order your copy?

Weird. I got Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit myself and no issues with installing.
Contact Ubisoft Support with your problem.
