I've tried... I've really, really tried but I'm just not having fun with Splinter Cell online.

I find being a Merc to just be downright boring & being a spy isn't much more fun. It's not that the game is bad or anything, it's just not that much fun for me, to the point that I'm pretty close to just giving up on it.

Ah well, GoW & Vegas come out soon (or for me, SvR07), which means nobody will be playing it in a couple of weeks anyway.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Sounds intense, nothing can compare with owning at the last second and taking all the glory. I carry flashbangs so that I don't have to take shots to the body =P<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The game's not bad.

I've had fun with the single player (what I've played so far). As for the multiplayer, I still personally like Pandora Tomorrow & Chaos Theory's multiplayer better. Though this new version has its merits. I really enjoy the remote hacking and drones but, I just wish you could carry more equipment.

Nonetheless there's nothing like almost having a complete file. You're trying to squeeze the last few percent and a merc discovers you and begins to open fire. It makes those mad dashes back to your spawn fun and tense, all at the same time.

I just wish there was more to the multiplayer and co-op. Including some more maps and more variations to the game types. The game may not be the best adaptation for online but, it still has some fun moments. However with Gears of War & Vegas on the way. I'm trying to get as much time in on this as possible, before moving on.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

O.k. so not only is Splinter Cell my favorite game of pretty much all time, but more importantly there are girls who play splinter cell. Y E S!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Double Agent is coming along somewhat ok, but im dissapointed in the lack of true change in any of sams equipment. It seems to be mostly the same gear and whatnot, but im only just broke out of prison so the rest may be of some appeal. Splinter cell Saga is one of those complexities in a game that come along for the few the proud who can say they have conquered. It takes a certain amout of curiosity and a defrinitive amount of patience to manuever the levels that entail all four publications, but hell if you have the ability to walk past four gaurds and choose to kill, or even set your self up for multiple side throat cuts and maybe a quick hostage situation, .....well you get what i mean. It takes a certain skill and if you can pull these quick multi button manuevers for pullin off a split jump drop and landing as you pull out your scilenced sc pistol to take out gaurds one and two. But when you do the BAMF feeling is inexplicable. BAMF=Bad *** Mother F***er

Not as much in this game, being neutered and all...For instance you can't jump off walls or do split jumps. This sucks the worst in boss house where you could go up that ladder outside of the blue terminal if you could take a step or two up that wall but instead...you can't. Also I'm not a fan of the not having a noise meter and the red/yellow/green meter. And I miss night time levels, the levels Splinter Cells were created for.

In multiplayer this game rocks because I love owning kids 24/7 as a spy and merc don't matter which team I'm on I'm a friggin ghost http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I have to say that it took a little while to get used to the multiplayer. I was too used to Chaos Theory. but I'd have to say that the most intense moment is when you are almost done downloading a file, and a merc is just around the corner, and you have to book it out of there.

I didn't realize this for a while but after returning a file, but shooting up back at base is a really good idea, there have been many time's that I've almost completed a file, had half health and all of the sudden die, because I didn't have the state of mind to make a quick jog back home to juice up.

I have problems returning the files back to the spawn spot. I keep forgetting when i ever i extract the files. I guess its my adrenaline, the excitement and that damn chase music that kills my memory.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I head back to base and shoot up whenever I hit below 50% health -- it also keeps em guessing as to where you are. Worst thing is when you finish hacking and the colors change, chase music picks up, and you realize you have no freaking idea how to get back to spawn.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

You do know the spawn point is marked on your map, right? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I broke my SC DA MP cherry last night. I got put on the merc side with random people. I know this much:

-The Grenade launcher is a great weapon to knock out pesky spies.

-Keeping your back to a wall/corner is a great stratagy.

-Supressing fire is an excelent stratagy to scare hacking spies.

Someday soon, I'll be a spy. Y'all seem to think they are the superior beings or something.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
