Please help, I just bought this game and noticed later that the super cool looking 3E Elite outfit and Si;enced Mp5 Navy were part of the Collectors Edition not the standard version on the Xbox 360.

My question is can the Silenced MP5 Navy be "unlocked" ? and the same goes for the 3E Elite outfit?

Yep, you just need finish the main game to unlock most of the weapons (this includes the mp5 afaik) and sign into XBL to get the 3E suit from the free unlockable content, there should be a submenu on the main menu called "Exclusive content" or something.
Hope this helps. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I assume youíre talking about the one mentioned in my sig. And that would be the Vselka Infiltration mission, it's one of 3 DLC missions for the first Splinter Cell. (Available on PC & Xbox but came standard with PS2 version afiak)

And it looks like this (http://www.toygun.ro/images/13358.jpg).
You can unlock it in all versions of the game. As I said above, all you need to do is finish the single player or COOP, well you donít need to finish, just take one from an enemy when you see it and then return it to a weapon crate. It should be available in all game modes from then on. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I'm pretty sure you unlock the MP5 after the Iraq level. Although you use the AK, you see it in the cutscenes. You even see it in the cutscene at the end, on Vic's back, oddly enough.

Thought it was pretty funny that you pointed him to a toy for reference.

Try this next time:

Actually the toy version looks more like the one featured in the game (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100513085611/splintercell/images/thumb/6/66/MP5_Collector.jpg/300px-MP5_Collector.jpg) then the real one... wonder why! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Your character doesn't even both to extend the stock when firing - which is just laughable. Collapsible stocks are for mobility. They are not there to look cool and never be extended which would simply add dead weight and hinder your performance.

Which brings me to the SPAS-12. Why is it, that in nearly every game I've seen in the last 10 years, the SPAS-12 always has the stock folded when firing? Do people, not understand what a folding stock is for? This is something of an annoyance.

In the game you have to purchase the stock for the MP5SD. I figured, cool, I'll actually have a stock on the weapon; thought they would of made it so you see the stock extended (as on the MP5). I was mistaken in making that assumption.

Then again, it's "just" a game...
