View Full Version : What sort of game can't you climb ladders?

How does one climb a ladder? I've tried walking up to it. I've tried pressing the "use" key right next to it. I've tried jumping on to it. I've even tried kicking it. Nothing works.
It's getting very irritating, especially having to sit through yet another 5 minute reload every time that blasted little goul rips my head off again.

You...walk up to it.
Make sure you're walking up to the correct side of the ladder, you can't climb the back of it.
Works just like most other FPS games, as long as you're on the right side of it.

Also make sure you are looking up when you connect with it... It won't "mount" the ladder if you are looking straight ahead I have found.

This is a known bug... the ladder doesn't work. Use the noclip cheat.

Joy. Ok, what is the noclip command for this game? Simply "noclip" in the console?
I suppose, on the bright side, I'm getting real good at kick gouls down the pit.

sv__cheats 1 <hit enter>
noclip <enter>
leave console, fly up to top
enter noclip again to turn it off (turn off cheats with sv_cheat 0) and enjoy
