Let me start by saying that Act of War was a genius made game. So I'm looking forward to this game.
From what I've heard, it's going to some type of Supreme Commander in WWII.
I also like the fact that this isn't a Tom Clancy game so Ubi is free to go wherever it wants with this one.

Well now it seems like youve got quite a bit covered here already Kzarr http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
So far from the review and stuff you've posted/ things i read yesterday it sounds like this is going to be what i wanted Endwar to be. Also like you said the fact it doesnt have the TC brand on it is nice and will hopefully make this game more tactical then the Current TC games.
I wonder if they will incorporate any sort of Voice Commands for the Console versions though, as i found that worked well for EW

I really do hope so. But I'm thinking they might be developing a new system to go along the with new engine.

I see you are thinking exactly what I'm thinking. IMO EndWar was a GREAT game, it was just executed poorly and flopped because of it.
Like I've said in other posts, I hope this is a spiritual successor to EndWar. And the MASSIVE maps (If I have read the articles correctly) seem far greater that what I could have expected. Sort of Sup-Com-esque eh?

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif if you talk to most of the other EW Vets. you'll likely get the same response as mine, so hopefully this game doesnt bomb. I just have to my expectations a little lower so it doesnt seem so disappointing if it does flop http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Heh, I suppose that's a good point. But I got hope. But if Ubi drops the ball and doesn't have Voice Commands on at least the console version, it won't even be worth a rental IMO.

I wouldnt get your hopes up on Voice Commands. I would be surprised if they used them as they are already adding in a new element into RTS's with the ruses, so adding 2 things might be asking for a lot, plus it may be too hard to implement on such large scale maps and such. In EW you could only effective voice command your troops to move to enemies and uplinks that would kind of take away from the game IMO if it worked like that. But With that being said, i think it would benefit the game if they did have it and made it work well.

Well i'm thinking of a limited voice command for like selection and basic stuff like taking cover, movement would be done with a button

I hope for the PC's version will be good and not a bad cnsole's version like a lot of other games devellopped for PC and console
