Will there be any Coop?

And i mean Coop like in playing through the single palyer missions with 3 friends, noot coop with eachother against other human players( TDM or CTF).


I do not understand why there are so few Coop games today, that realy sux. Back in the good old days almost eveygame had coop, it was coop or DM, damn I would chose coop instead of Dm, TDM, Ctf you name it anyday.

well then battlefield, ive got some good news, theres going to be coop, multiplayer(mercs vs shadownet), AND single player all in one game, wow!

There's no OFFLINE co-op, but online co-op looks good.

? why wouldnt u belive it its in articles dude and they have screen shots of the game being played in coop mode. and there will be offline coop if u mean a lan connection without a lan connection

Coop as in, split screen play with another friend on the same xbox, playing through all the single player missions..!?

Because if thats gonna be there, its gonna be sweet!

The only other game ive seen do that so good is HALO

I am talking about the pc version, not x-box or gameqube. Halo for X-box but not for pc, so I would go crazy if they ad coop for x-box in split screen but not for pc. But I belive u guys.

Do anyone got a link to some preview of some sort, cause I havent been following this sequel(addon whatever) very good.

I have read some previews now I from what I have read there is Spies Vs Mercs but nothing about Coop in the single player campain.

Thats what bothers me, Spy vs Merch will surely be fun, but Coop thhough the single player missions against Ai would be even more fun. Halo had it but only for X-box, not for Pc http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

In the screenshots it looks like theres 2 splinta cells but that could b online but normally screenshots arent of xbox live

They better have online coop. Splint screen would be cool for Xbox (not going to happen on PC)

Of course they have online co-op, what do you think the trailers and previews have been talking about! There will not be split-screen for any platform. Does everyone understand now?

the previews have been talking about the mercs vs spy online mode i dont know where you got coop from.

to clear this up there will be NO COOP going through the SP missions cos they are built so you are on your own/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif
And they wouldn't take the time to make a bunch of MP only missions for coop/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Im not sure if there will be any coop wether on the sp maps or the mp maps, but in the new oxm (Jan.) it says you will be implementing "tactical cooperative stealth" and squad based action with the use of the xbox communicator to talk to your shadownet team instead of having a narrative from lambert, but there will be no kills at all in this mode. It does not explicitly say that you and three friends can tear through the levels but it doesnt say you cant.

"Player Tip: When Playing Multiplayer With Freind(s) You May Have To Strategize To Pass Some Levels, Like You May Have 1 Person Distract A Guard While The Other(s) Pass Him..."

Now, This May Mean... And THERE HAS TO BE CO-OP In the Game...

it's not sp co-op.It's team based mp. mp is not deathmatch its 2 spies vs, 2 mercs(guards)its like data uplink on perfect dark where you get to the computer and upload info to score a point. so they're no talking about sp when they say co-op.I do hope they put in Lan Play for GCN tho http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
