Hey guys,
Thanks for dropping by the TMNT: Smash-Up forums. I just wanted to introduce myself now that I've finally wound down from E3. My name is Li Kuo (aka QuidProKuo) and I'm the Community Developer (ComDev) for TMNT: Smash-Up.
What does a ComDev do? Well, I'll basically help with any communications between the community (that's you guys) and the dev team on TMNT: Smash-Up. So any official announcements from the dev team via the forums will most often come from me here on out.
I'm really excited about this game and and I hope you are too!

Hi there Li! You have an interesting screen name. It's from some movie I can't recall right now, but interesting nonetheless.
Yeah I am really excited about the upcoming Turtles game and I hope to see some more updates coming.
I wonder what kind of advanced techniques will the Turtles have? Like in Smash, most characters had advanced tech moves to pull off some fancy combos or tricks. I can't wait to start seeing some of those for the Smash UP characters.

It's cool to see that you're so excited for TMNT: Smash-Up.
My screen name is actually just a play on words. The term "Quid Pro Quo" is Latin and basically means "something for something". I just replaced the "Quo" with my last name, "Kuo". Hence, "QuidProKuo". The term "Quid Pro Quo" has been used in a lot of stuff, including Halo 3.

You'll know when I know. I think Comic Con is going to be a big deal for TMNT: Smash-Up.

Oh that's cool. I never knew they had a job like that during a game's development xD Sounds like pretty cool job :3
Unless the community keeps spamming you with annoying questions that obviously can't be answered xD

It's not a bad gig. I've been in the game industry for ten years now and have had a chance to cover games from nearly every angle (print, television, web) so being on the publisher side is definitely an interesting change. Especially since I'm a Turtles fan.

Awesome. Hi QPK :P. It
Sounds like a wide degree of experience. Maybe some wisdom for someone trying to get in? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/halo.gif. Though admittedly my problem is partly not knowing what exists around me :P

I don't think I'd be much help. I graduated from college with a Creative Writing degree, applied to a job and PC Gamer magazine and the rest is history. It was all fairly mundane for the start of such a fun career.

Creative Writing? You do get around http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.
Well, do you guys do any beta testing or stuff like that?

My department doesn't, but Ubisoft has done betas before, such as the one they did for Tom Clancy's EndWar.
