the US don't send in al la Sam Fisher's to get what they want.
usually it's just public spy work, where you are a citizen/fake citizen of that country and you find out stuff, get jobs in "important places".
They don't send around people like Sam Fisher.
U forget that people that are outside of video games are just as smart as Sam.
He wouldn't last two seconds...

I never said they send in secret agents. I just said that they do have things like splinter cell. People that go out into the feild and are undercover to get information

not only that, do you think they should TELL people what theyve been doing? probably not, because they dont want to cause any sort of panic, and having people ***** and moan at you about "ITS A CONSPIRACY" is way more tolerable than a panic

Everyone here needs to read some of John Le Carre's books. He was a spy for the brits for a while and now he is an author. His books would give y'all the biggest insight of what a spy's job is like. Or you can just hire the movie "the Tailor of Panama" if you cant be bothered to read a book. Pierce Brosnan is the main spy.
