also.. the lack of a chat box in the lobby is a real letdown .. means nobody knows what they want to do half the time.

How do I get the v1.02.7 patch? I am running HOE via Steam and there isn't any gu.exe in the program folder.

Ah.. We'll cause the patch is official and games with the disk check for updates each time you run it, I'd assume Steam would have a way of getting you to update also. So you may already have it? Sorry I cant be more help, I haven't used steam since counter-strike 1.6 lol.
