Mosquito Mk40 flown by 87 Sqn RAAF from Coomalee Creek between May and October 1944.

87 Sqn, along with No1 PRU Sqn were used to photograph Japanese shipping and territory from the base in the Northern Territory.
The Mk40 were based on the MkVI and powered by Packard Merlin 31s or Merlin 33s with two stage superchargers.
Three skins included, serial marked, rounds only and tail bars only.
