When I use my mouse wheel to zoom when using the binocular or sniper zoom, I just get two levels of zoom.... making this feature useless for me. Anyone else has this problem??
(I'm using a Logitech MX300 on XP. The mouse wheel works fine in Windows environment, and is set up to scroll 3 lines at a time, which is the default.)

there is no "sniper zoom" in the full version u can equip the sc-20-k with a sniper attachment which allows u to zoom.. hmmm as much as with the sticky camera i think....

The PC version demo doesn't have a sniper. Waht you're using is just a scope that zooms in 2X.
EDIT: the "real" sniper has 6X zoom. 2X for binoculars is more than enough i think.

Although I don't have the demo, I'm sure I can live with what Ubisoft gives me involving the zooming levels. As long as I'm still able to snipe from long distances, which I'm sure I'll be able to do.

The somewhat limited zoom functionality in the binoculars is probably a concession to the fact that they are now "EEV" goggles (not sure what the acronym means but it makes me feel special to say it) and allow you to interact with electronic objects from a distance (scanning the armament boxes in the demo, and I've heard that you will be able to hack computers from a distance later in the game with them.)

I think EEV means Electricaly Enchanced Vision if i remember correctly.

The weapon you get isn't a sniper weapon for long distances, so they've given you a decent scope for short and maybe medium-range targets. Double zoom is still pretty good, anyways. Just hold your breath.
