I also have a question.

Is the contest specifically limited to "doctored" or "photoshoped" images?
My 2D image editing skills don't go much further than MS Paint. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
Before it was announced, i thought about doing a pre-rendered flyby of one of the ages.
Looks like that idea may have to go out the window?

Hi all,

Enter as many times as you like- mostly we want to be able to share some of the creative and funny efforts with the whole community, and I know many people here are very clever- see the Guild of Greeters calendar, for example...

And CordeliaG, that's right- images from Uru or any of the Myst games, or ones that look like they might be (see Jerle's effort in the announcement- it's not really from any of the Myst worlds, but it might be... almost...). The funnier or wackier the better.

I'm home now, so I won't see any of the submissions until I get back to the office tomorrow, but I can't wait.

Yes, this contest is inteded to be for doctored images. But maybe we can have the next one be for flybys or movies... that would be great. Or maybe just host yours if you'd like.

I'd hoped to see some movies for the Sound and Light contest, but there was only one. Ayli did submit her glossary (available on the Guild of Greeters site), and we had one person submit a Second Life Myst world, both of which I also thought were very clever (and appropriate) interpretations of the rules.

A movie contest would have fewer entries, but we'd all enjoy the results...

And yes, there are more musical submissions also- they take another set of steps due to the need to have them uploaded to the ftp site. But I should get them all up this week.

I'll start working on a movie "theater" or theater listings or something... As you may have noticed, we're trying to open the site up more to the community- to showcase and link and encourage involvement. So this is a great idea...

And we welcome more... If you have an awesome idea on what will make this site better, drop me a PT. We may be able to help make it happen.
