If the game creators are trying to go for historical accuracy, why can you reload in the middle of an M1 clip? And don't you have to load a bullet into the chamber when you shove a new magazine in? When you reload the Thompson or the .45 pistol in the game, you just shove a mag in without loading a bullet, or am I just ignorant?

yes u can reload mid clip in an m1 garand, but it is a pain and in a battle situation you would be dead trying to fiddle with it.(i have an m1 garand)
in a 45 after u smack the new clip in you have to pull the slide to chamber the 1st round, same in a thomson,m1a1 carbine

somthing else i noticed,is in a kar98(acually a g33 in the game, but who cares)after u fire the 5th round, you close the bolt again when the mag is empty, which of course the real k98 has a bolt stop that prevents you from closing the bolt when ur out of ammo,so you dont waste ur time cycling through the process again without ammo. as a k98 owner that just annoys me.haha
what would be awesone is if you could attach ur bayonet when u want to,in case ur low on ammo and dont have to bash them to death.and of course if u could pick up some extra grenades from dead people.

so many people think it is impossiple to reload mid-clip with a garand but it can be done. people think this because u cant in moh and cod. im moh on the first mission breifing as the level loads, colonel handgrove says that the m1 garand doesnt reload EASILY in the middle of a clip. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif
