Can other people connect to the host? If so then you have a client problem, if not then it is the host's problem.
Can you connect to any server?
Do you have a firewall and if so have you allowed through the IL2FB.exe on port 21000?
Give us some more details.....

It's not a host's problem, wolo was able to connect to the servers I tried. He has port 21000 selected in il2setup just like me, firewall was off and it still didn’t work. Though I can choose via which I.P. I want to connect (in il2setup, network, wolo doesn’t have that). I have put it on default, but I keep the error if I change the I.P.

Make sure you are all on the same vesion of the game.
If IL2 and AEP and PF then you all must have the exact same version. like '3.04m'
Nope, versions are ok. I contacted terrorkid and it seems all alright. Maybe it has something to the with the I.P. thing mentioned above?!
greetings, wolo
somebody plz help, it still isn't fixed. Terrorkid can't connect to server because he has a timeout, as said by the connect screen. Version is okey.

Maybe this post: I have found out why it ways"Timed Out" (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=26310365&m=1611057682&r=1611057682#1611057682) can be of help?
(It refers to the presence of a second LAN Connection, and thus a second adapter, and thus a second IP address...)
Good Luck!

If that link does not help you, then post up as much relevant info about your hardware and software to give us some more ideas of what could be wrong.
oh, to get a quick test of connectivity, make sure you can both ping each other (do you know how to do that?)

<span class="ev_code_YELLOW">NEVER EVER</span> put IP on default !
Thats the problem - it <span class="ev_code_RED">NEVER</span> works.
It must be one of the IP numerical choises you have!!!!
Also check hlpro.ini in the hyperlobby dir,
and make sure 'DetectLocalIP = 1' under the header of the game you play '[Forgotten Battles]' e.g. If you selected port 21000 in setup, 'LocalPort' should be set to that too in hlpro.ini
You MUST port-forward (UDP and TCP) 21000 when using a router, and a firewall is not a problem as long as it lets the game through.
