is it possible to create a map without the starting vegitations? im getting annoyed with deleting all the grass and other vegitations when im creating mountains and such.
No, all maps from "Map Creation Wizard" have some small foliage, stones and grass.
You can open the .DDS file and remove the white marks but remember to leave some marks at the edges of the image because .DDS files can't be 100% black. Also you can create one "almost black" .DDS file and replace in with .DDS files created by wizard on start so you'll get "clean" map http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
