Mostly for SwP. (http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=macs_cant)
Here's a link to the best page in the universe. I just thought Swoop should see it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

I think it goes a bit far by generalising Mac users in such a fashion, but I can't help but agree with most things on the page. The last thing that comes into my mind is "it just works" when the OS decides to close an app without any warning. Seriously, even the "report this and we'll fix it" button in Windows is better, and I've been reporting the same problem over and over for the four years I've had this system and the best response I've got is an automated email telling me to update the driver.

Smitty...
I love you. Or at least I love your mom.

*laughing HARD*
I love Maddox. I also love Smitty.
Now I'm going back to preaching about my Mac on the streetcorner, and rubbing my iPod all over my body. That's what we mindless mac*****s do, you know.

Macs have historically been marketed to people who don't "get" computer stuff. The number of people who are technical R-tards is decreasing, hence in the long term Apple computer products will lose market share. If not for the iPod and the coming iPhone, Apple would've died a horribly painful and graphic death complete with deleted scenes not shown in theaters.

Tee-hee! I creat3d propaganda!
I am TOTALLY a technical R-tard.
Where are you getting your facts? If anything, I'd say that each day spent in this wonderful world reveals that morons and bwain-impaired people are rapidly INCREASING their numbers, swelling their ranks through mindless procreation. They're taking over, Dave. I'm scared, Dave. (speaking of which, if HAL had been a Mac, he wouldn't have gone postal and killed the astronauts. Everyone knows that Macs are happy, friendly creatures of light, color, and joy all condensed into a beautiful, tangible package. =P)
Note: I really don't care enough about any of this to prompt me to really defend or attack either side of the fence. I responded to this post because I love Dave, am feeling chipper, and had a few minutes to spare. If this thread gets turned into any manner of spat or argument, it will not have been my will that made it so.

Let me just say that I Love Curtis too.
I'd say more people use computers today than used them 10 years ago. My presuption is that having more people own computers will translate into more people knowing how to use their computers. This is probably an inaccurate assumption since people with "the knack" for knowing how things work are in the vast minority. Again, I presume people think like I do. That never gets me into trouble at all...

Why, Ed — here (http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/story/0,,2006031,00.html) is a very thoughtful, edifying commentary piece. You will not find this personally or ideologically offensive at all.

That one handed peanut bag opening thing is SO good someone needs to put it in a mock-up of the ads.
