IM a fan of NMH and played thru the first one at least 4+ times and I loved it, but the wii sucks and released NMG (no more games) that I liked to play for well over 6+ months after the release of this game so I sold it. I would love to see NMH2 on the 360 and PS3 platforms. Suda mentioned he originally wanted it on 360 and plans to move on from the wii, which is a brilliant idea. He was the only thing going for it... I would want to see it muti platform instead of wii only for 2 and see the rest on real consoles. This tread is for people who want it to go on a console that will benefit NMH and help it grow to what it could be. A REAL open world game where you can interact with npcs, do tons of activities, make it have things going on like GTA4 had in the city, but NMH style. Maybe random street fights, driving random cars, more side missions, HD graphics, just tons of content that wont fit a tiny wii disk. Could anyone imagine a NMH game on par in scale of GTA in it's open world environments?! Maybe Suda can then see numbers he wants to see in sales.
I dont care to see all the blind wii love and flak for my comments in the post. I just want honest opinions of those who want to see the series grow to what it should be at and see it on other consoles. Mainly 360, but PS3 as well since I know many people who want to see it for that console as well. I would have posted this at the dev site, but it's down at the moment.

Well, NMH1 is being ported to the 360 for a Japanese release, with no mention of a US release (fingers crossed) except that Ubi said they weren't doing it. However, Suda51 did say that they were done with the wii after NMH2, so you can be damn sure that NMH3 (which they'll probably do) has a pretty good chance of seeing that platform.

Yea the port is for 360 and PS3. 360 version is uncensored and PS3 version will be. No word on western release however. =/ Here's the trailer, btw. http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/27293

I'm honestly not too sure about this, sure the Wii is able to give an "original" experience, but there are a LOT better games on the bigger systems. No More Heroes was originally intended for 360 yes, I know this, but the control set-up on the Wii for No More Heroes is downright brilliant and works perfectly. I can't see it working as fluently as the Wii, but I'am curious.

why would NMH2 get ported to less successful consoles?
japan is getting a "reflex" version of the first game ported to the xbox360 and ps3, mainly because the first game sold worst in japan, compared to the other regions.
there are currently no plans on releasing it in NM or PAL,
maybe they are waiting to see how the game sells in japan.
however, playing a game like NMH with its perfect balance of the wii controls on a other console would feel like playing a RTS game on a console instead of a PC
not to mention the great stuff that will be missing, the combat will turn into a button masher, the phone/wii speaker cut sceenes will be missing, the mini games wouldn't make sense without motion controls.
which brings me to the main problem with the ps3/xbox360 , games that sacrifice game play for nice HD graphics.
not saying all games are like that.
but the ps2 managed to play some great looking games like Okami , despise been the weakest console last gen.
your so called "true" consoles are an illusion, if you want a true console based on graphics alone, why dont ya play on a pc?
or are you just saying it because there is nothing eals you cant find on there to make it seem better then the wii?

no more heroes is fine were it is so i dont think it needs to be on another system because u'll be playing it just like u play games like DMC of even god of war . basiclly a button masher. no motion control no speaker functions just a very dull a experice we have had many times be so please dont port to the us atleast
keep NMH original to wii and nintendo

Yea...I hear where you're coming from Acid, but I LOVE NMH and it's a wonderful franchise, and needs to be experienced by gamers all over. However I will admit...having NMH exclusively to the system so many of my friends talk bad about is pretty refreshing. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
