I have started a thread in ORR asking if its necessary to still have the missions encrypted, you can view the thread here

http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=63110913&m=701100533

I would like to see a return to coop missions being used over again by using the cache again.

Coops have died a death since encryption.

As there an increasing number of licenced commercial 3rd party campaign and mission packs, I seriously doubt 1C:Maddox will change their position on this topic, but I also find it frustrating that coop flying relies so heavily on so few missions available for download.

If you mean the Battle for Europe addon, did anyone seriously buy that?? Some skinners felt they had thier skins ripped off and sold in the addon.
Mind you Tully i have noticed in this forum that theres more "look at what i can do" with out sharing these days, sharing missions and ideas pushes the FMB capabilities.

Try the steal the TB3 mission at our website for some fun.

Judging by the number of people mentioning BoE in the General Discussion forum, quite a few bought it. For offline only players (a large segment of the community) packs like that are often their primary source of new missions.

A centralized spot for mission uploading and downloading mission would be nice. Il2skins.com for missions.

Whatever happened to the "mission dump" at Fighterjerks? - seems deserted. Either it didn't catch on or nobody knows it's there.

Is uploading to the "Missions" section of the official site ever going to become a viable option? (It's frozen in time with original Il2 missions -- those may be REALLY good missions that never get old.)

Mission sources seem to have scattered to the winds.

A problem with downloading missions is that it's they're an unknown commodity until you play them (or look at the .mis file). Sticking with known creators helps - and at least missions are small files.
