These are the pictures of the guided missile destroyer HMAS Brisbane DDG-41 being sunk off The City of Brisbane's Sunshine coast on sunday 31 July 2005. After the charges were Blown she took two minutes too sink. She now lies in 25 metre's of water and will become the sunshine coasts newest dive attraction.
She was Commisioned into the Royal Australian Navy in 1967 and retired from service in 2001/2 I think. She served in 2 war theatres those being Vietnam and the First Gulf War.
