Anno 1404 pivking up crates

Hello,

I habe just started with Anno 1404 and i seem to have a problem with picking up crates from the small reever. I see the arrow blinking above the crates but when i click on it the ship goes to the crate but does not pick it up.

Also picking up the capital stones i can not figure out.

Who can help me out here?
