Your game has done something almost miraculous (at least in NEC Service opinion), but first things first:
I play on NEC MultiSync 3090WQXi monitor, and for performance reasons I selected the resolution lower than the maximum supported by the monitor - the game behaved strange - the image was displayed only in the central portion of the screen (while resize option on the monitor was enabled), instead of the full screen.
The problem was resolved when I lowered the resolution in windows, and then run the game, it allowed me to run fullscreen in lower resolution then...
And here the magic starts... The game crashed together with the whole system. After reboot - bang - the lower resolution became the MAXIMUM I could set in windows. After investigation (EDID reader, and connecting the monitor to another computer - the maximu resolution is lowered no matter to which machine I connect it) it seems that your game has OVERWRITEN the settings in the monitor (EDID record) during the crash.... The NEC service guy is amazed that this was possible, and the monitor will have to be FACTORY REPROGRAMMED http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif....
Thank You UBISOFT... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
