Constantly. I've always had trouble with infrequent crashes to desktop, most of which I believe were caused by running other programs while playing FarCry.
However, since I installed 1.3, I crash so frequently that I don't even feel comfortable playing in a match/scrim situation because I cannot make it through a 40 minute game without crashing at least twice.
I currently have 1.3 installed over a fresh install of FarCry.
My system is:
Abit AN7
Athlon 3000xp
1 gig PC3200 DDR400
nVidia 6800GT 256mb
WD200 8mb 7200rpm
I've tried multiple combinations of video settings, running FarCry with almost nothing running in the background, uninstalling and reinstalling, all to no avail. I'm out of ideas .

It could be heat. Do you have good cooling or are you overclocking?
Is your power supply up to running all your stuff at full load?

My internal case temperature is ridiculously low for just being air cooled. I have a 120 volt 560cfm fan that came out of a Mazak turning center in the side of the case that I turn on whenever gaming (it's on independant power source from the PSU).
My PSU is 600 watt.
My video clock time and processor clock time are standard. I my RAM and FSB are overclocked, but have been forever and never presented any unreliable tendancies, however, I just tried to get into my bios to reset defaults, and I can't.
The computer is booting straight to the memory flash screen, and not giving me a chance to enter setup. Maybe I have bigger problems than I thought.

Ok.
Cleared CMOS. Flashed BIOS. Reinstalled Windows XP. Reinstalled Farcry. Reinstalled 1.3. Reinstalled DirectX 9c. Got the latest drivers for everything.
Still crashes to desktop. Constantly. I cannot play more than 5 minutes without a crash. This has ruined the game for me, and I can't even stand to play anymore which really bites, because I love this multiplayer game.
Anyone? Any suggestions?

cant you play endless single player? if you can then you may have a punkbuster issue. what are your gpu temps, after playing 20 minutes?
