i need cheats !! and why the game don't save ??

hi ppl
finaly i got the game but when i try to save .. it never save !! and now all what i did in 6 hours in a mission is gone and iam not planing to start that mission again so iam looking for cheat i can use to pass that mission or i will simply unistall the game and will never play it again xD !

firstly can you tell me the process you went to to save the game? Once it has been saved you will get a message in the game screen saying that the game has been saved.

at present im unaware of any cheats for the game, this isnt to say there arent any, its just I havent found them and generally tend not to use them as it takes away from gameplay (just my opinion) I certainly havent come across any cheats to bypass levels.

1st when i try to save
F1->savegame->but it never get clicked !! just when i move my pointer to " save game " the bar turns to gray but never open !!
i was in crawford or somthing similiar .. i already finished that mission minute ago finaly ... but the problem of saving is still there http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

2nd i hate cheats and i never use them but well after playing about 5 hours on a mission then all that go is really pissing me off !!
thats why i needed 1 cheat to pass that mission ..
i think there is no cheats for the game as i didn't find in GS or any other games web sites ..

btw do u have any guides for the missions ??
it would be really helpfull ^^ .. and plz stay with me till i find solution for my saving problem ..

Hi A_Tiger101,

Have you installed the latest patch? You can find links to this by going to http://www.thesettlers.com. Also, if you have a look through the forums or use the search facility you will find lots of answers for different missions where people have had problems, it'd be worth checking those first.
6 hours isn't really that long a time to be playing a level, I would say I spent at least that long on most levels first time round due to be cautious about running out of resources!
