Triple digit dates hold much significance for many people. Not just because they happen once per century. Many couples exchange wedding vows on these dates. Possibly because they are easy to remember. The population is going to expand a bit in the next nine months I bet. In binary, we have six switched on transistors http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Eleven is the sixth prime number and it's just as good as a seven when rolling the dice in craps.
Cheese it! Here comes Wernher. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif

Actually, they happen every year, well, at least during the first 12 years of each century. Like last year on 10/10/10 or the year before on 09/09/09. My birthday comes once a year too, but I don't even celebrate that. Hmmmmm, neither has anyone else. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
Oh well, since I've had this job, every day (including holidays) is just another day to me. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/typing.gif

Carnival started here in Germany at 11:11 today. While its not really celebrated in Berlin, it is very big in Cologne and in some other cities.
I had a huge children's march with paper lanterns and drum music walking past my house a few hours ago. Just couldn't figure out where that strange noise was coming from until i looked out of the window and saw all those lights and singing kids http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
In Berlin we call it Fasching instead of Carnival http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif (no ..not fascism .. Fasching !) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Sounds like something I'd be looking for of the slot machines in a casino. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif

I have to say that my 11.11.11 was spent with my church group and my wonderful girlfriend (who is part of my church group if you were wondering) at a state-wide "Youth Ministries Convention" in our states capital...and it was undoubtedly the most fun I've had in a long time. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Granted, the time 11:11:11 (and all my plans that were associated with it) came and passed just as any other time would, but the day as a whole more than made up for it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
I'll certainly be looking forward to 12.12.12 when it rolls around. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yeah watched the Armistice day Ceremonies here on TV. Took particular note of 11am and shut up for a minute.
BF3 continues to occupy me a bit but I am way too slow - I just use the shotgun like I would in real life - get a few that way. However I do still check these forums at least twice a day.
