Fail Start Settlers 7

Hello! My friend and I are playing The Settlers 7 together, but all of a sudden when he tries to start it, it gives him this error

fail start Settlers 7 Error 60003

I've tried to google it, and so has he, but we cannot find any solutions for it.

Any suggestions/help?

More precisely, he now writes to me;

Failed to start Settlers 7 game execuable (error code 620003) Re-installing the game may fix this.

i get the error code 1 when i double click on the application on my desktop
