Can anybody suggest ways to help me and others through this difficult period of waiting, before the game is finally released in 2 weeks?
This is something no doctor can help with.

Rumor has it that SHIII was in the works long before I was in diapers. Mr. Disney was frozen & to be thawed when release is near. A deep freeze should do the trick? j/k http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

The best thing to do for your sanity delphin is to go and look at my wondrous countdown website (see link in my sig)
The effects of this are myriad and it will sooth whilst educating. If things get really bad you can sit and watch the minutes and seconds tick down, this will relax you conciously and subconsiously as your mind realises that the time is slowly disappearing.
It works for me, im not mad!

Watch Das Boot, then watch U-571, slap yourself twice. Say "Ahoy!" fourty-three times and sit on the crapper and think what your going to do on SHIII. If thats not enough, act like your in a U-boat inside your room, act out the plays. In school draw up tactical plans.

I have been playing Enigma: Rising Tide. Its not to bad, it has helped a bit. But only a bit. But when playing ERT you will notice that there are no people in the game. Then you will know that SH3 will be the answer to your question of "where is the crew?" But this could have a negitive affect and only make you want SH3 even more! Easy. If you're a student, get as much work done as possible so that you don't fall behind during the 14 straight days you spend locked in your room. If you're older than that, get laid as many times as possible until the release date to make up for the sex that you won't be getting from your wife/girlfriend/significant other during that 14 day time span.
