Firstly, PLEASE DO NOT post a comment if you do not agree, there are other threads for that, or open a new one yourself disagreeing with this thread, this is a petition and only to be signed or commented on by people who AGREE. Thank you for your cooperation.

OK, if you too feel that the problems with the game go far beyond your connection speed or lack of it, (come on lets face it, if in one game you can support 16 players and more with no lag, but this one has problems with four, then there's a problem that needs addressing), and agree there are other problems that need looking at, such as voice breakup (again a lag problem I'm told), the strange aiming control that I have read about and experienced then PLEASE SIGN and / or comment.

Let me say this, I loved this game enough to go and buy it a second time, even though the original Xbox one was not without its problems, but the problems have escalated to a point where I feel I've been conned.

The game has the potential to be THE BEST online shooter, I firmly believe this, the variety of gameplay puts other online FPS to shame.

It has the potential but falls so short and is an overwhelming disappointment, literally NOBODY plays ranked because we all know host wins, the number of people playing online is rapidly falling because why bother if every game lags? I don't need to details the problems, my personal favourite where you get on a handglider, but don't so you try to get on a second time only to realise you did the first time, only to find the second time meant you get off to fall to you death. Brilliant.

Bottom line : Ubisoft should fix it because its broke, or at least faulty or poorly produced, at the very least they should release a statement telling us all to get faster connections, LOL!!

While I'm sure they're already working on it, I'll go ahead and lend my support. Most of the games I've been in have been relatively lag-free, but I still run into it far too often.

I agree wholeheartedly! I REALLY want the lag to be fixed, some of my friends won't even THINK about buying Predator because of the online! I'm pretty sure you guys know about the problems and are "looking into it", but please say publicly that you are either making a patch or not so that the entire community can have some peace.

Very well written petition. I agree on all points. In particular:

1. this could be the best online FPS for the variety of gameplay and overall balance between weapons/vehicles etc.

2. gameplay lag (and voice lag) kill the experience. Every game lags in a frustrating way. Some games are just broken and unplayable. In the best case, the game is sloppy with an enormous host advantage. And this is for hosts which are all "green". Other games (especially PDZ) do not exhibit this degree of lag.

Thanks for all the replies so far, especially Mambonuts who doesn't even have Predator, thanks for the support. Some great comments / points being made, please urge any like-minded friends to sign also.

Lets hope Ubi takes note.

On a half positive note I did pay a couple of quick games last night, six players and was pretty good fun, a bit of lag of course, most notibly voice. But I can honestly say it reminded me why this game could be great, truly great, its in Ubi's interest, if only for securing future business, they look at sorting the problems.

Half positive I wrote though, you may have noticed, this is because the host left the party and max players open, and people started to join, which in theory would be welcome, but seven, the lag rears its ugly head, eight, inability to quickly pick up weapons, nine, ten, the inability to aim or kill without luck, eleven, the crazy dancing enemy, twelve, my 360 whimpers, so do I, the electricity supply of the 14 neighbouring counties disappears into a black hole! Well you get the idea!

Well they reckon they are going to fix those problems in crysis... but there are some things they need to remember:

1. its only coming to pc.
2. who the !@#$ can afford a pc that can run something that good.
3. its not coming out for ages.

This has been my favourite MP game since instincts came out last year. It has great gameplay depth/openess,weapon balance, and level design like no other shooter out there and it does it without comprimising the games fun. It is also highly accessible for casuals and the community is really laid back, yet it has to be one of the least played games on the 360 due to the lag. Ubisoft is a great company but the lack of support for this game is a real spit in the face of the fans who bought this game. No dedicated servers what so ever from Ubisot to at least comprimise for the lag.

I could not agree more!

It is impressive how effective UBI was at adding new vehicles, new brush sets and NEW BUGS.

Not only are many of the same bugs still present, but there are new ones that just baffle the mind. Does UBI even bother with testing?

I bought this game yesterday, and one of my main reasons for doing so was the Live support - which, I have come to find out, is absolutely horrendous. Ubisoft, I spent 60 of my hard-earned dollars on your software, make it worth it.

I love the game and used to play it all the time on xlink kai, which didn't suffer as bad with the lag problems i'm now experiencing on live. UBI fix the lag (im sure your looking into it) sort the problems with ammount of maps we can select, if i have over 70 maps, others are there but cant be selected without deleting maps. And do a map pack like halo and cod have done, This will get the interest going again.
There will always be diehards playing this but with the present problems even they will turn their backs if things dont change.

Due to UBIsofts lack of action/response to the issues with this game the only fix to having a lag free FarCry on the 360 now lies in the hands of Microsoft in my opinion. They need to get their backward compatibility emulator to run Instincts and/or Evolution.

I agree that we as consumers should research products before we purchase them. That being said that should not be used as an excuse for giving UBISoft a free pass for releasing a lackluster product. I get the feeling that some here are trying to shift the blame to the consumer for being upset with a subpar product when it should be on UBI. Also maybe lag isnt universal but I believe other issues mentioned in the feedback thread are universal.

No issue whatsoever with your pointing out the obvious about researching games (or at least renting) prior to purchase. In fact, had the poster actually done any research on this...they probably would (should?) have turned and ran...as far away from FCI:P...as possible.

As for the petition...whether it was posted on the 5th, the 10th, the 15th or even on the "same day" (the 3rd)...it's a valid post and petition for Ubi to do the right thing by the MAJORITY of this community...or what's left of it.

It has now been over 2 months since the game's release. There have been exactly 2 small tidbits of communication...2...that's it. Their lack of any meaningful or substantial communication or action is ridiculous in MOST people's minds.

The unaddressed and unresolved issue's scenario with this game is treading precariously close to that of the fiasco that Infinity Ward went through with COD2....and it's painfully obvious that like that one, the issues here have driven away MANY, MANY, MANY gamers from Predator. That is a shame. (myself included for the most part...not much fun making maps for 10-16 that can only be hosted by or even played by a handful of players)

I guess all we can continue to hope for is that like Inifnity Ward...Ubi gets it's collective head out of it's A**...and gets it's "schtuff" together and does the right thing...eventually?

Maybe then gamers can see what originally had us eagerly anticipating this game...

I don't think the "UNEDUCATED purchase" comments are fair in this case. Lets face it, a lot of people played Instincts and bought Predator so they could play the game on thier 360. NO researching needed. We had played the game. We just didn't know Ubi was going to charge us $60 for a slightly upgraded game that truly took 1 or more steps backwards and dosen't work like a next-gen game should. (can we even call this game Next-Gen?)

And the lack of communication. Sorry Ubi but Bungie has spoiled us. Heck, thier weekly update has given us more info on a game that ain't being release for over a year than you have on your game we are playing now!(or at least trying to play).

Igniter, I agree to a point. The example you give is correct for the assumptions many of us made 2 months ago. I don't think the same can be said for Havard114's post above...he bought the game a week ago. 10 minutes of research on the web would have EASILY told him to save his money or at least rent before buying...

despite the lacking graphics, this game provides very dynamic multiplayer play and with FIXED aiming and online performance, this will easily be my favorite game from the worst

Wow...another week goes by and still nothing from Ubi.

At this point, I think I'm finally convinced that they're happy that they have our money and have NO intention of fixing what ails this game...

Too bad...a game that could have been easily in the top 10 on LIVE if it worked...has now fallen totally off of the chart and driven MANY fans of the original away.

i've yet to see a company that denies any complaints from the players and refuses to release ANY update on what they are doing to fix the problems

i keep telling myself that they will release it sooner or later

but that's only because i can't believe a company would actually refuse to patch up a funked up game

Since it doesn't seem as if there's going to be an actual fix to the problems...maybe we should have a petition for them to just tell us why they aren't...

1) communicating with us (and before the serious homers begin flamin...2 quick blurbs saying they were "looking into" the issues in almost 3 months is NOT communicating...at least nothing of importance)

2) Why they've chose to ignore the obvious issues and have decided to NOT fix this game's MP?

This is just such a travesty...

I stopped into these forums today and just now saw this petition to fix an issue..an issue that partially lead me to the decision of leaving the community as well as map making. Though I no longer play FCIP, I will include myself in this petition because I personally support the quality of Ubisoft in general...but to see issues like this, I would expect better.

I wouldn't stop playing it though, the graphics make almost any map look good at least to me. At least you guys got some good pre made maps like Mercy Creek. Evolution Premies suck.

EDIT: Jay, if you think Predator has problems, Evo has its own as well recently. An update last week made the map editor as useless as the old one in Instincts where brush pieces follow the same elevation over any terrain elevation change...

I'm officially signing. Some of my regular buddies on Xbox Live used to play Far Cry Instincts every Friday night and we were excited as heck for Predator! Everyone went out and picked it up! Long story short here we are a few months after release and guess what - no "Far Cry Friday" in almost two months now due to the lag and voice issues. Fix the game so that people can play. You know it's not just a few people having the problems just from these forums. Imagine how many other people out there just have the same problems but don't bother to post or were so frustrated by the game they just traded it or sold it. Fix - The - Game...

Obviously they are not listening to their onetime fans of this series...really too bad, too.

At this point, since it's now VERY obvious that they DO NOT plan on fixing anything in the game...it sure would be nice to at least hear the rationale for a few things...

1. Why did they decide to NOT address the issues brought up by their community since the first week after release? (Lag, Voice lag and dissappearing guns to name just 3)

2. I really would like someone to explain their rationale for taking away 3 things in the lobby system from Instincts... (A) Ability to change gametypes within the lobby, (B) ability to "Kick" players and (C) Ability to join a Friend's game without an invite...

FYI - you can join a friends' game without an invite if the following things are true:

1) they're not playing a ranked game
2) the game they're in is not full

I agree with all of your points though.. just wanted to throw that out there.

Also, what would the logic be behind not allowing someone who sets up a DEDICATED SERVER to send out invites?

Didn't think it worked (or at least it didn't a month or so ago) when you set up a dedicated, FL-only server for trading maps etc...the only way friends could get into that type of room was with a direct invite (wasn't like that in Instincts). And of course, I could be VERY wrong as it's been awhile since I even put this in...

The patch did fix a few things, like invisi guns, infi reload, and I heard something about pipe bombs in car wrecks not being in there when they respawn any more. But yeah, why fook with the editor? Oh...that's right, you hate us...
