how to complete patrol mission

I got a mission to patrol in the phillipines. I went to the designated area and i raided manila and and then attacked a convoy north of borneo but the mission still says incomplete, how do i get it to say complete

Quick answer is to stay in the area untill the star goes gray. It will take 72 hours I belive.

Stay within 55 NM miles (100KM) of the star for I THINK 48 hours but maybe it's 72...
