Yay!

I am so excited! I've seen every episode on DVD and I really wish they hadn't cancelled the show! I can't wait to see more Zoidberg!

Apparently the game plan is to release 3 new movies, each will be broken up into 3-4 episodes (for a poential new season on Adult Swim). If the numbers are excellent, we may see a revival of Futurama ala Family Guy.

Futurama is a very rare gem.

The level of comedy in it was unfathomably uncommon. Very wity and satirical. Looking forward to the new stuff - glad to see they're using original cast.

My favorite character though has to be Roberto.

i read they've already started production on the new episodes. billy west let it slip on his own forums. the numbers on adult swim were just as high as family guy, so they figured they'd bring futurama back too.

I just love how Fox repeatedly drops great shows for crappy ones and that now Futurama has partially returned, the shows creators are somewhat openly pointing the finger. God, those Fox references in the trailer cracked me up.

Well, don't hold your breath for Firefly :-p

Fox has this tendancy to bump shows around, skip weeks, take hiatuses, and just move days and times.

Take House for example. Love the show, but it bounces around and skips weeks randomly.
