Level one question about welder *possible spoiler*

Hi,

I've just started playing this game and it looks fantastic. I'm on the first level, Lighthouse, and I've been trying to get to the zip line to make my way across to the Lighthouse.

I've left the welder to do his work but he seems to stop after the wooden boards drop. They drop and lay diagonally across the bottom of the doorway which seems to be enough to stop me getting through.

Perhaps I'm missing something extremely obvious. How do I get to the zip line that'll get me across to the Lighthouse. (I know how to finish the level by walking to the lighthouse, I'm just curious about using the zip line).

shoot the welding canister if he wont complete it. If you shoot it or the lamp it will explode and blow out the rest of the doorway allowing you to scess the line. If you dont want to kill him though KO him and pull him outta there becasue the explosion will kill him (and you)
