Sam had a daughter, Sarah, right? So Sam had to have had a wife. In the perspective of Sam's wife, her daughter died, her husband commited bank robberies, went to jail, broke out, joined a criminal organization, had an affair with a criminal, and then, in SC: Essentials, he also: fragged his superior officer, lied about, etc. Now, would you want to be Sam's wife?

Hahaha

He doesn't have a wife, and I don't think I would want to be one... he doesn't seem to have much luck with women. (spoiler if you haven't read the latest book yet) - any women he gets involved with have a nasty tendancy to die. Poor Sam

Yeah, she died of cancer. They weren't married long. He didn't get to know his daughter until she was about 15 when his ex died.
Reading the first book now, got the 2nd ready. Light reading, but still a fun book.

I always knew there was something wierd about you!

lol

Anyway, let's take a serious look at this question because in all this sillyness and joking, there may be a real plot point.

With school, working on my website and keeping an eye on things here, men are something I just don't have alot of time for right now. But I think alot of people here are not lost on the fact that I am a little enamored with the idea of a man like Sam. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/inlove.gif I joke about it alot in respect to Enrica, so its no secret. Having said that, I don't think the idea of a wife, per say, is right for Sam. But, I do think a long term, rest of his life, love interest would do that character a world of good.

Now, I know alot of you are going to say "Oh, she just says that because she wishes it was her!", but I form that opinion not necessarily as a female, but as a film student.

Look at the state of Sams life based on the current storyline. Sam always had two lives from SC1 through CT. He was a bad *** operative on the front, and a father at home. Sarah was his link to I guess what we will call "normalcy". Now that Sarah has passed away, he has nothing "at home", which is why we will find ourselves involved with the JBA in Double Agent. There is nothing for him to live for personally, so he throws himself into this NOC job. Now we know what DA will be about, and we know enough about the storyline of SC5 to know it won't be the games we have known in the past. If we want the SC storyline to get back to what it was in the first 3 games, we will have to give him a reason to want to go home. Allow him to be as close to "happy" as he can be, so that he no longer feels he has nothing to live for. He doesn't have a daughter anymore, so other than a love interest, I don't see any other way to do it.

Hmmm, sound like to me a perfect suggestion would be for Sam to get a computer, a vacuum cleaner, lotion, tissue paper, an internet connection. Of course he can just listen to our phone calls if hes bored and has "morals."

It's pretty twisted topic question ; to imagine oneself as a female ahhum, companion, of the fictional character Sam Fisher....

Games characters like Sam, serve a bit as action hero rolemodels to all of us.

Not as imaginary husband.

I mean he has to get in another relationship and get her killed and have another child who can die as well otherwise he's a pansy. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Sam's greatest weapon: affection/involvment/marriage (if you know and love him, you die apparently)

Spekkio is right (once again). If we think about black ops people for real, those guys that do similar job to sam's (includes killin lots of people) are not the guys who date with girls. A girlfriend would be just a mess for him when he has devoted his entire life for his work.

Yea but this isn't real life, it's a video game. Storyline is very important with this series and the drama has to come from somewhere. Keep in mind the SC books and movies...I think there will be one sooner or later.

Think about it guys, what causes more drama for you than your girlfriends? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I think Sam is a great guy... He seems to be the perfect guy, though there are many in real life they are hard to find. His voice is just the most amazing thing that hits you and seperates him from the rest.

I think as much as I love Sam I wouldn't want to be his wife but more of a friend, he would be someone I could talk to when my b/f is annoying me and he would takecare of business, or someone I could have a good joke and laugh with.

I think on the whole Jackie is set to be his wife she is Fisher mad (in a good way) I mean she finds Sam and Michael Ironside sexy, if you think about it there is two of them *lol* http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif and the age gap well.... Age is bar a number. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Dunno, but if there are (there won't be), it will be Enrika (hot) and Sam (they should edit him out http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif). I don't think Sam could handle a relationship so him and Enrika would be f*&k buddies if anything.

Well actually, as far as the age thing in concerned its typical for me. My first boyfriend was when I was 19, and he was 32. In the last year I've only dated 2 guys, 50 and 52 respectively. So Sam and Ironside both in the 50's right up my alley...

but I think I told you all that already...LOL now I can't remember.

and since you mentioned Grim...I imagine Chris will be here any second lol
