With October coming soon, 3 very high profile titles will release. Those titles being Brutal Legend, Uncharted 2:Among Theives, and Borderlands. So, I guess my question is: "What Games does everyone plan to get?

Of those? None.

My October is all about Forza Motorsport 3...

And Lego: Rock Band.

November is Modern Warfare 2 & Left 4 Dead 2.

None. ODST and Marvel will hold me over until November when CODMW2 comes out.

Can't say I'm overly excited about any of those choices xD But then again I'm picky...

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
Forza Motorsport 3

No love for Alpha Protocol eh?

Still, my game of choice will likely be Brutal Legend, although I'm buying 5 games in October alone (Brutal Legend, Borderlands, Alpha Protocol, Uncharted 2 and NBA 2K10)

I've been really looking forward to Borderlands ever since I read about it after E3. Hope the game lives up to the expectations.

No PS3 = no Uncharted

But Borderlands and Brutal Legend both look great.

I am also very interested in Alpha Protocal.

COD is a given.

MUA is the only title I will be playing for the next month at least.

Uncharted 2 is a dead cert, I honestly expect it to be my game of the year.

Borderlands looks great, depending on the reviews I will probably buy it.

Brutal Legend: Tough one, I love Tim Shafer, Jack Black is cool and I like the style but the gameplay I've seen of this game does not look great.

In October I also plan to pick up:
GTAIV - The Ballad of Gay Tony
Alpha Protocol
Resident EVil Darkside Chronicles
Dead Space Extraction
Tekken 6

Way to many things coming out, today I picked up Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Mario and Lugigi: Bower's inside story, and Scribblenauts

Still need to pick up Batman: AA and after that I'm looking at ODST,Forza 3, and MW2.

Someone else pointed out borderlands to me a week ago, which could be pretty good I'm gonna have to watch that one too

Tbh, while they all look like very cool playable games, I'm not ****ting my pants to get my hands on them. i'm totally willing to give them all tries, just not right away. The same kinda goes for MW2, i'm not going crazy over it cause it's going to be a lot of the same for sure. Not saying I'm not going to enjoy the hell out of it, but i'm getting that one mainly to play with my peeps.

Agreed.
They are all rentals to be sure. MW@ will be more of the same but that's a great thing. New perks. A better progression system. That alone makes me happy.
Thats probably the only one I will spend money on because I know I will play it for at least six months or more regularly.

i'm more concerned about CoD's ridiculous spawn system than anything else. i no longer own CoD4 for that reason alone.

and WaW was only bearable for a while because it featured new weapons, maps, and a longer progression system - all dwarfed by the ridonkulous spawn system.

As far as October goes, probably just Borderlands. But when November rolls around, all attention will be focused on MW2.

Am I the only one that's excited for Modern Warfare 2 for the campaign?

The campaign in CoD4 was one of the only FPS campaigns I was actually compelled to finish. I've finished others but that was the only one where I would put down the controller after a couple of levels, just to find myself back on it like half an hour later because I couldn't stop playing until it was over.

I'm actually getting pretty excited for Torchlight. I've been itching for a good action/RPG for a while, and that might fit the bill until Diablo 3.

Other than that, there are a number I'm looking forward to, but not any I feel I *have* to get soon after their release.

Edit: mcmax, the campaign is the main reason I want to give MW2 a try. For the most part I don't play shooters online anymore thanks to some wonderful experiences with Counter-Strike.

Almost forgot that Tekken BR comes out at the end of October. Once that comes around, nothing else really matters.

I'll get Battlefield Bad Company 2 on October 5 via Amazon. That and Wolfenstein will keep me busy for a while. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I also have Borderlands on my tracked list on gamespot.com. But I probably won't buy any more new games this year besides COD MW2.

Brutal Legend looks dumb and Uncharted 2 is only for PS3.

I am excited for the game for multiplayer and campaign. I enjoy a good campaign and I sometimes replay CoD4's or Halo 3's campaign. After all before multiplayer became big, there was always the single player campaign.
