MAP CRASHES ON LOADING SCREEN

Hello,
I need help again!
I finished my map today but and changed it's name to publish it. But after I changed it via "save as", the map crashes on loading sreen.
WHY?? What have I done wrong?? I WANT TO get it work today. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif

Make sure that all files are OK. If your maps was called "Name" (example) and you change it "NameTwo" then it could crash.


In other way there are tons of possibilities what could go wrong and I can't tell you what it is without checking the map.

I hope it's only the naming problem. Try to call your map with no numbers in it and with unique name.

The Problem is that I change the name, saved it and than changed a lot of parameters without playing it. Now, I can't play it and I don't want to change all the parameters again.

I had similar issue when using save as, which I reported on the forums. When using save as use a completely different name. DO NOT use for example "MapName2", "MapName3" ... etc.

Had something like this errors too.. some of .scr files were pointing wrong dirs when named map1,2,3. and editor crashed.

Last time error was that rename didnt change name in the map_startprop.scr had to use notepad to do that.

I finally just did the changes again.
